Log Barn Kiln-Dried Ash Hardwood for Wood Burner, Grate, Fire Pit - Approx. 9.6kg (1 x 30L Net)

I have had a wood burner for many years and usually buy kiln dried wood locally. However, I’m currently incapacitated and unable to leave my home. As an Amazon customer for what seems like forever, I decided to buy this wood and have it delivered to my home. I bought two bags, WHAT A MISTAKE! Do not buy it, it’s a total rip off. This wood is not kiln dried! It is smaller than the average size sack of logs. The wood does not burn, it smokes, and remains solid. It’s a complete waste of money. I feel aggrieved that I have been ripped off with this product and am disappointed that Amazon are allowing charlatans to sell their sub standard good via their respectable selling forum. Trust me, this wood is a waste of money!

Why is this so expensive? I hope the seller is not attempting to profit from shops being closed during the COVID-19 epidemic.Aside from the extortionate price there is additionally a severe lack of quality. The logs don't burn in my fireplace. I can start a fire, but these logs will not burn through.I will save my money and go without firewood, until I can once again purchase sensibly.

Less wood and at least twice the price (paid £12.99) compared to wood logs you get at DIY or fuel station. Plus logs size of half a tree (see picture) and too big my chimney and don’t fully burn. Fortunately bought some smaller, cheaper logs (and twice the volume) from Homebase today which are burning at back of picture.

These logs are a waste of time and money.Firstly, they came in a huge box, then wrapped in plastic inside, then in its normal mesh bag. As a result, the wood inside was all damp and mouldy.The bag is tiny and it's double what you would pay for the same amount of wood in a petrol station.

I assumed that we were buying 2 lots of 30l of wood but we received a package weighing 8.4kg and 8.6kg.Very disappointed!!
