Andrew & Everett Hormone Free Grated Parmesan Cheese, 7 oz container

I wanted a grated parmesan without the animal enzymes because while I eat cheese, eggs, don't eat meat products even avoiding gelatin capsules (which, unless noted, are made from pork or bovine byproducts). TASTE - I LIKE THE TASTE and TEXTURE! because let's face it, no matter if it meets certain requirements, if it doesn't taste good, what's the point? SODIUM - I use it in lieu of salt on most things. Like it better and can use quite a bit and still low sodium. PRICE - NOT bad for the quality. It's just ME using it but I still go through about one a week because I use it on just about EVERYTHING, eggs, pasta, potatoes. BOTTOMLINE: UNLESS quality changes or price goes way up, THIS will be my grated parm from now on because checks all the boxes, including not having the enzymes coming from an animal's insides.

This is not the typical Grated Parmesan Cheese you get from a fast food restuarant or local restuarant. It is grass fed and aged Parmesan Cheese that cannot be compared to a Kraft brand. It will fill you up. I sprinkled some on my pasta, and after eating it, I felt full and satisfied. Don't treat this brand of Grated Parmesan Cheese like a typical brand either. Keep it refrigerated right after openning it and using it to keep it fresh for long. Don't leave it in your kitchen Cupboard. The only thing I don't like is that it does not seem like there is much Parmesan Cheese in the bottle or maybe it is just me. I felt like they could have added more Parmesan Cheese past the half way mark of the bottle so it seemed like a full bottle of Parmesan Cheese.

I’d like the taste of this better than craft or several of the other shelf stable products. It had an bit of a pungent odor and it was a little clumpy those are the only concerns that keep me from giving a five but because it’s organic and more pure than craft I gave four starsUnfortunately I left it out on the countertop overnight after only using it a few times I was very disappointed with that and I’m planning on ordering it again can’t go wrong with this.

Flavor is good

I started buying this cheese at a local grocery because it seemed to sell quickly while other brands languished. Eventually, it was discontinued but by then, I wouldn't buy any other pre-grated Parmesan cheese. Fortunately, I found it on Amazon and have ordered it about half a dozen times in the past year. Some buyers say they've had quality issues, but my orders have always been fresh and the taste is uniformly excellent. I usually order two containers at a time and refrigerate them both immediately, even though I only open one. On one occasion I noticed a less than secure seal under the lid, but the most recent delivery had a tight, uncompromised seal and the taste and texture in the new batch was no different than the jar I was finishing off from 6 weeks ago. So glad I found this product.

At first, this I found cheese to have a wonderful fresh flavor & not sharp as some are . There is no good safety seal on the container, and the last batch bottle was badly dented, did not use product as safety seal not intact. Will not purchase again due to bad packaging.

Found this by accident while trying to buy some Parmesan cheese for my Italian dishes; ordered it, liked it.
