Dinosaur Encyclopedia for Kids: The Big Book of Prehistoric Creatures

My grandson loves dinosaurs and is learning a lot from this book.

Grandson loves it although it is for an older child. He's only 2 but he brings it to me to read. It's got to be over his head but he enjoys looking at the pictures while I attempt to correctly say the dinosaur names. I would guess that this would be suited for a child over 6 and younger than 12. Great illustrations and interesting facts.

My 7 year old grandson loves this book. It is a little past his 1st grade reading level, but because he is crazy about the subject matter he persists with it. Great illustrations and simple facts on each dinosaur. The pronunciation guide is very helpful.

Although also suitable for someone much older my 4 year old grandson is absolutely enthralled with this book and all the “new” dinosaurs he is finding.

Much larger and more in-depth than expected but we love it. The illustrations are awesome!

Really love this book for my Dino obsession little one. Haven’t gone through with a fine tooth comb but did notice one of the pronunciations (diplodocus) was listed incorrectly, hence only 4 stars

1. The book arrived promptly2. The book is a nice size. Lots of color and well designed when casually reading about TRexes.3. The 5 year old loved it. It has enough detail to be educational but does it with lots of visual interest.4. This was a good deal. The 5 year old had been sick with a nasty cold for days and I wanted to give him something new to look at and enjoy while hanging out on the couch. This was perfect without breaking the bank.

My son loves dinosaur so when I saw this I have to get it to add to his collection. I love how this one has different dinosaur and it also helps you lear how to say the dinosaurs name. They can be tricky.
