I love Australia and everything Australian. I would move there in a heartbeat if I could as it's a beautiful country with some of the most awesome people and excellent original television programming. I had wanted to find an Australian flag for my bedroom wall for a while and when I found this was very happy. I read through the reviews and, seeing they were mixed, figured that at such a great price it couldn't hurt to give it a try.I was very surprised at how pleased I was with the flag. The colors are vivid and brilliant and the flag is huge; much larger than I was expecting. Yes, the material it is made from is thin. If you are wanting a flag for your wall, if the wall behind it isn't white, whatever color/design is on the wall will show through any white or read areas on this flag. Unless the color/design is dark, it won't be that noticeable unless you are standing right in front of it. The folds in the material are sharp and will take some time to work themselves out unless you iron the flag in some way (I guess that would be possible if done carefully considering the thinness of the material). My flag was missing one grommet so it could never have been used on a flagpole but that wasn't its purpose to begin with. There is writing on the white strip at the left side of the flag that shows through the material but, again, for my purpose, that doesn't bother me.While I wouldn't recommend this flag if you wanted something to fly outdoors (I just don't think it would be sturdy enough to last for the long haul whipping in the wind), if you want something to use as a decoration or need an Aussie flag for school or work projects, I would say it would fit those bills nicely.

I've purchased many Anley flags and I have never been disappointed. In fact I would not purchase any other brand. The quality of Anley flags are superb. The colors and quality of the Australia flag is outstanding but as I said, all Anley flags are outstanding.

I purchased this flag for an American sporting event that featured and Australian athlete. When it was his time to shine a friend and I held up the flag. It was the appropriate size for one person to hold with arms extended. It is bright, durable, and I thought a good bargain. 5 Stars!

Proud to fly the Aussie flag for all to see! Nice colors out of the box and easy to install on existing pole. We will see if the grommets are actually rustproof and the color holds. A random passer-by commented on how nice it is.

Bought it when our exchange student came from Australia. We fly out on the flagpole underneath the American flag.

I've been buying these flags from Anley and I fly them 24x7 until they get faded and frayed. Pretty good quality for the price and they usually last many months (varies depending on wind and weather) before i just buy a new and one and replace it.

Perfect size and looks great. Ordered this to pick up my boyfriend at the airport this winter as he is flying in from Australia; I thought this would be a cute way to greet him!♡
