Love the powder form; this does help with dosing. Also, the powder is easy to mix in with juice, tea, water, or any other beverage. I've noticed since I've been taking this daily, first thing in the morning, my mood is improved and I do sleep better. It is best taken with caffeine, but I find it works without it too. I decided to try this product after drinking a matcha tea latte and feeling euphoric; turns out, matcha tea is high in l-theanine and caffeine. I definitely recommend!

I had no idea that L-theanine helped with anxiety or stress. I have always used Now brand of vitamins and have always had great success. The L-theanine is no different. Has worked wonderfully and I have never have to question the quality.

I add it to my teas, water; even my mushroom coffee. I love that it’s tasteless.

Powder form is easy to take. Great for sleep, 1/8 teaspoon half hour before bed. More effective than capsules.

I really like the powder as opposed to capsules. I take mix it in with my green tea and I am more awake and focused. It's important to remember to cycle out every so often so your brain/body doesn't get user to it.

I tried it for the first time. I've had excellent experiences with NOW. It works as I expect. Had a lot of thoughts in bed, totally eliminated them when I got to the right dose for me, around 350mg. I use an inexpensive electronic scale that measures to the thousanth. During the day, if I'm stressing, just 200mg does it for me. Easy to manipulate the dose with powder. This brand works as advertised.

Doesn’t mix well with water, also 1/8 of a teaspoon is not a common measurement. My smallest measuring spoon is 1/4 teaspoon so I just had to try to fill it half full. It should come with a scoop. While NOW does make a capsule this is the powder which I know is on me but I was really surprised when I dumped powder out into my hand! I bought it for perimenopause brain fog and irritability so just pay attention and make sure you want the powder!
