Wild rabbits love this! Just the right combination of ingredients and percentage of each in the mix. Nothing goes to waste. Thankfully, squirrels don't touch this feed--just the rabbits.

Lots of filler
I bought this a couple of times and it really does attract a lot of animals. I put in my squirrel table on ground near smart feeder to occupy my squirrels and black birds. It attracts a lot of birds. But every night there is a big mess of leftover kernels that I believe are wheat. The rest of the product is completely consumed or taken away but these wheat kernels are left behind making a big mess. It does appear they do crack some open. A lot are left untouched. It inspired me to really look at the ingredients and once I saw what was really in the bag and the amount of cheap filler wheat, it kind of ruined the experience for me. The price would be a value if 100% of the product was being used but it ended up costing less to just make my own blend with the ingredients they will eat and avoid the mess. In my pictures you can see these all over the ground and that’s just one small spot. They throw it out of the picnic table so if you have this on a patio be prepared. If they make a blend without the cheap filler I would definitely consider because I like the convenience and I love this brand.

Good price for happy squirrels 🐿
Our backyard squirrels love this stuff. I was a little nervous to buy with some reviews saying their squirrels wouldn't eat it, but I guess our squirrels aren't picky eaters. Just bought 2 more bags.

The Backyard Critters Absolutely Love It
This Kaytee wildlife food has been a huge hit in my yard. The squirrels, chipmunks, and birds come running as soon as I put it out. The mix looks fresh and clean, and there’s never any waste left behind—they eat every bit. I like that the 5‑pound bags come in a 2‑pack, so I don’t have to restock as often. It’s great quality, great value, and it brings so much life and activity to the backyard. Highly recommended.

They were a bit uncertain at first, but after a while they just dug right in. I had peace of mind because I knew they were getting proper nutrician with so many different kinds of seeds and grains mixed in. I will probably get more of it next year for them. Especially during harsh winters.
