Q: Does the rain pool on fabric covering?

The small fabric they call the 'roof' will pool water between the support beams. Not a good thing. I am looking into replacing it with a same size sheet metal of some sort.

Q: Is there an option to bury the pergola post into ground? if so, how much deep should i bury those if i want to install this on gravel base?

Burying the pergola posts would lower the clearance of the pergola. The legs are hollow so you may be better off burying a 4x4 and securing the pergola post to that instead. It's pretty stable, we've had 40mph winds and our unsecured pergola has held up fine.
