SE12" Hoop Earring Mandrel with 3/8"-2" Diameter - JT-SP238HE

Had a little rust on the flat wide bottom. Tapers too sharply to make a good substitute for my lost 16-32 ring mandrel. Square shaft bottom is good for staking up to use. Should still get plenty of use out of it, just not as a good XXL ring mandrel. I did spin and mark whole sizes with a marker, but too close to easily use for wire wrap ring work.

The ring mandrel I have is often too big at the top. And there is a huge gap in size between the biggest end of my ring mandrel and the smallest end of my bracelet mandrel. This serves me well!

Great lil (big) mandrel. I needed it for a necklace project requiring a hoop much larger than a ring, but smaller than a bracelet. This was one of the only mandrels that fit the bill and it worked wonderfully. I aim to use it further for making hoop earrings. If you need to make 2 inch hoops... this is your mandrel!

The size was what I was looking for...but the metal dents easily. The mandrel works best for soft metals that have been annealed.

Good, heavy ring and hoop shaping mandrel, saves on having to buy a range of smaller sized mandrels.
