Feel like a lumberjack.
I'm 64 and have been using a chain saw since I was 20. I never had any protective clothing, not even gloves or glasses. With this outfit, I feel safe, secure and smart as I'm not as spry as I used to be and I bought the largest, most powerful, loudest and heaviest chain saw that I ever had. This year it's been so cold that I've had to go into the woods and cut more firewood in February. Not only that but there is two feet of snow on the ground. The helmet is adjustable and it fits over the thin hood of my "lumberjack" shirt. The ear muffs work well and even keep my ears warm. The glasses are good and do not fog much. The screen shield keeps all the chips from flying in my face and under my collar. The gloves were nice in the fall but get wet in the snow so I use my cross country ski gloves which are waterproof and breath better although they provide less protection. Everything is comfortable while I posthole along pulling my sled and looking for standing dead hardwood trees. Now if I can only remember to stop spitting when the screen shield is down..

The quick release strap clips are very convenient.
The first thing I'll say is that I believe in and use safety equipment. Life is difficult enough without me being stupid. The Chaps are easy to get on and off, and offer lots of leg protection. They even cover the top edge of my work boots. The quick release strap clips are very convenient. I like the Hard Hat. It has mounted ear protection that can easily be flipped out of the way. There is also a face screen that offers protection from stray branches and will protect your face. The gloves are substantial and offer flexibility also. I am quite careful, so none of this equipment has had an opportunity to be tested in a real world accident

Can’t say enough good things!
I’m 6.2, 180lbs and the entire set fits perfectly. They are extremely comfortable and don’t limit your movement at all. I use my chainsaw 10 or 15 times a year, sometimes for all day projects. I have taken down 4 trees due to root rot that were 100’ tall but that is the extent of my larger tree falling experience. I have always decided not to purchase these since I have never had any issues and it’s another added expense. The very first day I wore the set it saved me from a trip to the hospital and a few stitches in my scalp. I am always really careful to look for widow makers when I fall a tree and since a hard hat will not save your life from a big one I went through my usual walk around to check for them. I missed a small one for the first time in my life. It came down on my head while cutting the wedge. With the hard hat I barely felt it. If I hadn’t been wearing one I’m pretty sure I would have been in the ER getting some stitches. I Can’t recommend this set enough. It is worth every penny and much more.

Husqvarna Chain Saw Protective Apparel Powerkit, Professional
I was looking for a complete safety package, and finally the price dropped for this kit. Included is the helmet with screen, ear protection, safety glasses, lanyard, chaps, suspenders and gloves. The helmet/screen/ear protection combination is an outstanding product. The fit of the helmet is great, and the screen protects the user against debris. The earmuffs are built into the helmet, and with some quick the user is ready to go. The included instructions are a bit tough to follow, as the pictures are very small, but it's easy to put together. The chaps are of a great quality and the fit is adjustable with buckles at the waist and down each leg for a custom fit.The safety glasses are of so-so quality, the lone complaint in the box. I'm going to be substituting a personal pair for the included ones. The gloves have good dexterity, you don't get the feeling that your working with "oven mitts". They have extra padding on the left glove from the finger tips to the wrist. They run SLIGHTLY large. Something to keep in mind if you have smaller hands. I thought the fit was good, and wore them all day without any problems with vibration.Overall a good purchase if the price is right. It worked out to be cheaper than ordering each item individually. Husqvarna quality is evident in each item in the box (with the exception of the glasses).

Very good
Very good gear at a great price. They gloves are a little big but very nice. The helmet is my favorite. It's sturdy on your head and it really does make you feel a little safe. Bibs are great as well. The safety glasses are nice as well but everyone that cuts woods has multiple pair. Very happy and worth every penny

So-So. Some good items.
Chaps and gloves are fine. Helmet disappointing in sturdiness, though functional. 6 of 10 re Quality. Goggles are a joke; "throw-in". Could have done better purchasing components separately. Would have been worth the extra paid. Wise to be more wary of "kit" packages.

Technical chaps, functional grade everything else
Pretty complete kit. But don't let the giant "technical" sticker on the box fool you. Only the chaps are technical grade. Everything else in the box is functional grade (lesser than technical). Sun visor for the helmet unusable.
