Ordered a Large (kids 12/14, supposedly), which is one size up from what my child normally wears. In the description for this item it currently says "Size large fits children 54 to 60 Inch tall, up to 100 pounds". My kid is under 60 inches by a bit and way, way under 100lbs, but the pant legs only just covered his knees and we could barely get the top over his shoulders. The costume was about a foot too short/small. Also, the crotch fabric was all up in places it should not be, both in the front and in the back. Returning immediately. IF your kid is about four feet tall and weighs 50-55 lbs, I think the large will fit your child - the fabric is softer than a lot of other Halloween costumes, although it is just as thin as most Halloween costume fabrics are, which I am used to at this point. The pattern is colorful and my son really liked it, he was super disappointed it didn't fit. If your kid has their heart set on this one, order at least two sizes up. If you can't get at least two sizes up, I would not risk it unless you are handy with a sewing machine and can sew in panels to broaden the shoulders and fix the crotch &leg length.

This is a nice costume. I got a clown wig separately and then never tried to figure out how to have the small hat stand up and stay on. The costume is cute, and my 7 year old daughter liked it! Based on reviews and availability, I bought a size medium. It does run small. She’s small for her age and still wears mostly size 6 clothing. The legs were a touch short, but not a big deal at all. Order at least one size up!

I bought this after measuring my daughter who is only 50 inches. I ordered her a large 12/14 and it's so short, she can't even put her arms in. The measurements are not right.

This is a cute costume and would have been perfect for what we wanted if it had fit. My son wears a 10-12 and is skinny (4’10 and 75lbs); he is well within the size range for the large. I pulled the costume out and it is small, but a figured we could just have him wear knee high socks. Nope. This thing was almost skin tight on him. Unfortunately we will be returning this.

Quick shipping is all that's positive. Cute costume for the money. Too bad the sizing was off big time. This deliveredon Halloween and was so small I had to recreate. basically cut it up and deconstructed to make it evil looking. My son had to wear pantsand a shirt under. They need to reevaluate sizing.
