8GB Sports MP3 MP4 Video Player for Running with FM Radio, View Photo and Video (Support up to 64GB) [with Earphone] - Black

I probably should have done more research before I purchased this but I just figured it would work like an older one (different brand) I had been using since early 2000. I use it solely for listening to music. That is what I bought it for. The storage capacity is good. However, I want to play it on random but it will only play a music "file" on random ... Which I have yet to figure out what that is? All I can say is that when I use the random mode I hear about 4 songs being played over and over ... I have at least 200 songs on it from my Windows Media Player. My thought would be that it would randomly play ALL 200 songs but I can't seem to get it to do that. I am so over this thing. It has caused me so much stress and time trying to figure it out! I'm done with it and buying another brand with the capabilities I need/want. (I wanted to be able to make playlists and this thing doesn't have those capabilities just so you know!)

I ordered hoping to not have to carry a kindle fire if I wanted to listen to audiobooks or music. The description says it plays MP4; it doesn't. I haven't tried to figure out if it would support my audiobooks in a different format than what they're in now, but it won't play them in the same format that the kindle fire does. It's also incredibly cheap plastic; it pops when I press on it lightly and I feel like I'm going to break it every time I grab it. Don't buy it.

Very impressed with this little gizmo. Although the manual for the Guaranty leaves out some info that I thought I'd pass on.If you are going to use the eBook function be advised the screen shows 18 characters across and eight lines down. You must format the text yourself because the device does not split words properly if the 18 characters of the line are exceeded. It just cuts off the word and continues onto the next line. That being said, the text is easily readable and the eBook function may be of some use to you.The Video player function works well but you'll need to have software to convert to the AMV extension so the videos can be played. You can find a free converter by typing in "megaleecher amv converter" (without the quotes) in your search engine. The software does a great job and I have used it to convert many videos of varying lengths including full sized movies to test out the player and the software. The video player is okay as a gimmick, but because of an 1.8 inch screen not what you want to watch for a long time.The Voice recorder works well but not as well once the device is in the rubber case. To solve that problem, I drilled two very tiny holes next to the earphone jack hole on the rubber case with a Dremel high speed drill and a very small bit. This opens the microphone holes that the case is covering.The radio works fine and if you push the menu button a short amount of time while listening to a radio station, it'll show other options including being able to record what you are hearing on the radio.One last hint, when listening to music, a quick menu button press will give you an equalizer to adjust the sound quality to your liking.The above items are not mentioned in the manual but found thru playing with the player.I would definitely recommend it to a friend, and I am glad I purchased it.

I was disappointed to open the package and find the device is not orange, but black. I bought it for a friend who's in the hospital, so I don't have time to return it, but I was sad to see it's not her happy color after all :(Still, it does seem to work.(NOT a touch screen--I wasn't sure when I ordered it.)

A little smaller than I thought for viewing pics and videos but..everything works properly. Radio is excellent!..head phones are great..all functions are working great!..cute lil gadgetUpdate..I really loved this player but unfortunately for no deggum reason at all..stopped charging and refuses to cut on..so so disappointed! :(

I run ultra marathons and I was looking for something that would hold a lot of music and some podcasts to listen to in the last hours of my races. This was perfect! I hook it on to my hydration pack and use it when I need a little extra push to get me through. It's easy to operate, even when you have been on your feet for hours and hours, it's dark out and your brain feels like mush.Additionally, it was really easy to upload content to the device.

Bought this for my little sister. She absolutely loved it. Its the perfect size and easy to use. I couldn't get videos to work on it, but I will try again. I didn't try very hard because I was in a hurry. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that the wrist strap is huge and my sister had to use it as a waist strap, and the headphones were huge and didn't fit around her ears. Other than that she was extremely excited and absolutely loves it.

The MP3 arrived in 3 days!! I downloaded 350 songs already and it used up 1 gig of memory so plenty of space for more songs later on!.The manual is easy to read so I figured out how to use it in a few minutes. I saved some FM stations and the reception is clear.I am not going to watch videos or read books on it. I just want to listen to my music and the radio.The sound is sharp and clear with lows and highs easy to hear with any headphones.Some MP3s have the highs very high and almost no lows so the bass is lost. This unit has both!!!.So the sound is great!!!. The orange color makes it stylish and easy to find when not in my pocket.It fits so well in the palm of my hand! This small unit is superb!!!. I love the size and the quality!!!.

I'm sure it works well, but instructions were unclear on how to upload various types of files since when I plug it into a computer drive - the page opens up clear? .....so if anyone knows how to install mp4 video files, or if someone can let me know of how to contact the company who manufactures them - please let me know!?
