Great pump as described, Time will tell.
I have to admit I am pleasantly surprised surprised at how effective this pump is. I have used it 4 times now for about an hour and a half each time. I would say that the flow rate is accurate and I’ll remind everyone to not only prime the pump before use, but use a cheap vegetable oil to lubricare the inlet before priming everytime. I’m using it to lower the level in a septic system out in the country in Mexico, so tough nasty service, but hasn’t missed a beat. I personally thank the company for the 2 extra kits to rebuild, as I’m sure they will come in handy.

Small but mighty
This little pump does a great job. I used it to get water out from behind my Inground pool liner. Pleasantly surprised how well it pumped.

Small pump that isn't too bad
I've been using this to pump water out of a large rain water cistern and down a hose, to water my garden. It does the job perfectly fine. It doesn't give the highest water pressure ever, but it's enough to water with. As for the noise - it's not too bad. It's certainly not silent - a bit of a high pitch whine, but nothing crazy.

Do not recommend
Did not work right it was very loud the water flow was bad there was not enough pressure and it took forever to work. The paper work did not help and we had to figure out how to install it ourselves and it was not easy.

Decent little pump, especially for the price.
I live in Southern MN, and this past month (June 2023) we have had a lot of rain along with much of MN and Iowa. We ended up with water in our basement because the rain sewer couldn't take the amount of water coming in. Really wish I'd had this at that time! But now I've got it in case we have issues again. I was able to test it out on our kiddie pool and was happy with the amount of water it pulled. It ran for maybe 10 minutes, got a little warm on the backside but that's to be expected. The unit itself is lightweight, but heavy enough that I am not concerned about durability. I will mention that if you're emptying something like a kiddie pool you need to be mindful of the screen sectioning itself to the bottom, especially as it gets near empty and there's less water weight. Also, the type of hose fitting in the last picture, the type with the wing nut, will not fit. The motor casing is too close to allow that, so just a heads up. The screen is also just a press fit over the inlet hose, which is fine except that it may want to suck a little air when not fully submerged, and you need to be mindful of that when you move it around so as to not disconnect or lossen it. All in all I'm happy with this, especially for under $70. I'll update if I need to use it for flooding.

Good for ONE TIME use.
After one use this item stoped working. I've worked with this type of pumps for over 25 years and I never had any problems. Maybe this was the dud in the batch but I would not recommend it for long term use. I followed all the instructions and after the first use I stored it properly. That was in June. Now is September and I tried to use it after adding the oil as is recommended but all I got was the pump overheating and the smell of burning rubber. No water was coming out. The sad part is that the return period is past and the manufacturers are not responding. I can't get my money back.

Fragile
Used it twice and it worked great Then it burnt up on the 3rd use Tried to use short side of hose so it wouldn’t have to run without water These are fragile

GREAT LITTLE PUMP!!! MUST BUY IF YOUR CITY DRAINAGE SYSTEMS SUCKS AND YOUR BASEMENT FLOODS
My basement flooded with about 3 inches of water and although we used a sump pump to get it out, I could still see water standing in the drainage hole. This indicated that there was water still standing under the basement floor and a little rain would cause it to rise back up into the my basement. Searches every hardware store, Lowe's and Home Depot looking for something that I could use to pull and pump out that water....no luck, until I ran across this pump. Wasn't sure it would work but thought for the price I'd give it a try. It came in 2 days, fully assembled and ready to use which was great since it had rained for 2 day before and sure enough I had water in the basement. (City drainage system is garbage and permanent fix would cost me $10K) Set this pump up and four hours later my basement was water-free!! and there was no standing water in the drainage holes. While it was running I went outside to check the flow of water to determine the rate of removal and I was shocked to see that it was flowing like someone had turned on a faucet!!! The packages says 300+ gallons per hour and it's not lying....at the rate it was removing water and the speed I would guess it removed about 1500 gallons from under my house (40x100 Lot). I am certainly ordering another just to have on hand just in case this one goes out....at this price hell I should order 10. When I figure out how to post the video I took of the water pumping from my house I will post. This pump is incredible!!
