There is no suction on these, which is expected. A little bit of water underneath sort of works for suction and I am sure for younger babies it’s perfect. Once you have a toddler it just depends half the time it’s used as a toy but she is getting better with it as she’s getting older. I find the trick is she will leave it alone if she’s actually hungry. Overall they solve the issue of her using the table as a plate at restaurants. They are good quality and thick, and are aesthetic pleasing, ease to use and to travel with. They come with a carrying bag and are dishwasher safe, they also wipe clean and don’t seem to get stained.

These are handy, easy to clean and light/ thin to carry around. They stay in place and have been very useful for me when I go out to eat with my son.

They are so easy to clean and the two original ones I bought have lasted me two years! I bought another pack for my second child I had 6 months ago. They aren’t too thick either. Nice quality and easy to clean. But if your little one loves removing the mat then this isn’t the one for you. It’s just a mat no suction. Overall it’s a great table mat

Love these mats. They are a nice size, easy to clean, and generally stay put as long as my daughter doesn’t try to pull at them.I have put mine through the dishwasher, but prefer to wash it in the sink as I find they are not as “sticky” after the dry cycle of the washer. Will probably buy more of these for baby gifts
