The taste is like walnut/baked yam with a slight bitter after taste. Can be taken straight but leaves you tongue black. I chase it with small amount of water to stretch each dose. I noticed results after 48 hrs. I felt off/on cramps to side of my mid section that went away after 4 days. Every now and again i fell slught discomfort in rectum area. Notice results on every "release". Felt less bloated. More energy in the morning. Better concentration. More alert. Edit: After 48 hours I noticed an effect of this herbal remedy in the toilet. And after several days and 1/2 of the bottle used I also noticed candida as well. This lasted about 30 days for me. After which, I needed more as I still didn't feel as well as when I 1st started taking it. I did however, have an acne breakout that didn't clear up until after finishing the bottle. It took roughly 48 hours to notice a clearing in my skin. No doubt this works for removing worms and surprisingly, candida. However, the dosage is not as strong as other products. Edit: 12-19-2016 I purchased a cheaper version of this "Fresh Green Black Walnut Wormwood Complex". I didn't fully read the what's in it. The amount of alcohol used was enough to give a burning sensation to my tongue. I had to suck on a few Halls to get the burning taste out of my tongue. Live and learn I guess... Edit: 1/1/2017 Started taking Nature's Answer: Wormwood and Blackwalnut which also includes clove. This stuff has a very strong clove taste to it and has worked well in only 24 hours. I noticed parasite eggs in toilet in about 48 hours or so.

Bought this a few months before actually using it. I had suspicions my weight loss was more than just stressloss (stress weight loss ha!) convinced myself I was a hypochondriac and put it in a cabinet. Flash forward to a few months later and I have steadily lost weight without trying too. When I ate I would get fully quickly even if I was starving, food seemed kinda yuck almost and I just am not that person. People commented about my weight, I had sunken eyes, I felt depressed and was sooo soooooo moody. Tracked my weight loss to right after a trip to mexico. It was like my body was getting nutrients for the first time in months. I remember laughing more easily, which was odd and that's when I noticed I wasn't feeling depressed and was more easy-going the way I normally am. Took it for 2 days and it amazed me. I felt kinda sick at first and needed to drink A LOT of water. the same way you have to drink a lot of water when you get a massage. you’re ridding you’re body of toxins and water helps flush it out. it's a detox and the funny feeling will go away if you’re hydrated. every time i felt that yuck feeling from the detox I drank water and felt so much better. Anyway, I went away and forgot to take it before we left and the bottle. That day I felt my mood sinking, the next day I was irritable and actually cried. When we got back home that night I started taking it again and felt great, now I am over the initial "woah" feeling of finally getting what your body needs but iv'e noticed no more sunken eyes, slow weight gain (which is good, I didn't want the crazy weight that I would get from antibiotics that worked in a week" no shock weight gain however I starting up a gym routine since I am on week three. It has been gentle, nothing crazy for me as it hasn't been years, but I noticed a mental change and weight gain. I read there is a new parasite that 30% of people have and don't know it, it's from water, sushi and cat feces and affects the brain and you can't see it in stools. I have no clue what I had but I will take this stuff consistently throughout my life as it also is a detox and good bacterial growth treatment for your intestines. make sure you have at least two bottles, you will need more than one. Drinks lots of water when you feel funny, I noticed the best dose is 2 in the am 1 before bed or that worked best for me.

IMPORTANT: The instructions say to take this product for 3 weeks, Taking a 1/2 tsp serving 2-3 times daily. At this rate the bottle will last 8-12 days. The bottle states it holds 24 1/2 tsp servings. If you want to take it for the entire 3 weeks you need more than 1 bottle. I'm disappointed by this, The bottle should hold the entire regiment in it. Or at the very least tell you it doesn't, Instead it implies it has 3 weeks worth inside as that's the dosage directions. So Really you need 5 bottles total, 2.5 for 3 weeks, Take a week break, Then another 2.5 for the 2nd 3 weeks. If you only take 2 doses per day you will get away with just 4 bottles. Just received the product and am relieved it is not as disgusting as I thought it would be. The Smell, Is like a Wood / Bourbon and the taste matches it. The taste is a little sweet but you still need something to mix it with or chug down after the dose. It is pretty viscous like molasses, Perhaps a little less than. It is easy on your stomach, At least for me but I see no reason why it would harsh for others. I heard someone say they get very bad heartburn from it so keep that in mind. If this happens to you then taking a TUMS after your dose will likely prevent it, Or at least make it tolerable. For the best results the directions say to take on an empty stomach, Allow 30 to 60 minutes before consuming Food or Drink. The reason is this way it does not get diluted from food or drinks which would make each dose less effective. You will need something BOLD to mix it with or chase the dose with, I used a Dark Roast Coffee blend and it actually tasted quite nice with it.

Okay, so I have been struggling with intestinal/digestive issues ever since I came back from an extended stay in a South American country (almost 2 years ago now), and I have tried countless natural remedies to try to regain my health. I really wasn't sure what was wrong. At first I thought it was just an issue of H Pylori, which I tested positive for. So I took mastic gum, manuka honey, raw cabbage juice (not exactly the most pleasant drink out there), cranberry juice, DGL, cat's claw, aruvyedic herb mixes, you name it. After figuring that the natural way wasn't potent enough, I resigned to taking the triple therapy which did get rid of the H Pylori, but intensified my issues of feeling bloated and chronically uncomfortable. I kept trying other remedies afterwards, exercised regularly, and ate a simple, well-rounded plant-based diet. Yet the stomach issues persisted and I was feeling pretty hopeless. After all, chronic stomach pain zaps energy, contributes to stress and anxiety, and just generally makes your outlook in life a little bit more grim. HOWEVER, I've taken the time to write this review (which I rarely do) because people, THERE IS HOPE! Not to say my digestive system is 100% back to normal, but after taking this intestinal edge stuff for 3 weeks, I feel a WHOLE lot better. This has helped more than all the raw garlic, probiotics, and over-priced honey ever did & you'll start smelling like flowers (lavender to be exact) after you take it. Plus, the taste is really not that bad. If you've been suffering from undiagnosed stomach issues for a while, I would recommend at least giving this a try.

I did a lot of research on this before I began so I’m going to let you know that I decided to order a probiotic and a binder along with this product. I took zeolite (binder) months ago to detox from heavy-metals and it totally wrecked havoc on my system. I have still not recovered at all in the last five months I’ve been off it. For instance, that kind of heavy duty binder depleted my system of all nutrients - my hair became dry and brittle and my fingernails broke and started feathering. Neither has returned to its natural state in the last several months since discontinuing its use. Now I’m using chlorella as a binder because it’s supposed to bind and wrangle the *toxins*, but NOT take nutrients along with it. I ordered the probiotic: Letero-Flora from Global Healing and Dr. Mercola’s Chlorella with Chlorophyll as a binder. I started loading up on extra key nutrients by adding an extra 3 capsules of Ancestral Supplements beef liver and beef brain for a total of 9 per day (throughout 7 wk regimen) and started taking the probiotic one day before N.E. Then the following day I took the chlorella (which I chewed) after not having eaten for a couple hours, then Intestinal Edge 30 minutes later. I did this in the afternoon and then again before bedtime. In between, I put 1 1/2 cloves of raw garlic in my dinner and a few drops of oil of oregano in the last sip of my tea and started really loading up on my water intake. (By the way, I find the taste of Intestinal Edge to be pleasant with a mild (but brief) not as pleasant aftertaste. It tastes like sweetened yams mixed with herbs but then has a slightly spicy or chemical-tasting herbal aftertaste. Not bad at all for me. I took three doses per day pretty much throughout the 6 weeks on. The first evening in bed I felt a peculiar yet not bad sensation in my intestines. I woke up briefly in the middle of the night feeling fine and by the morning, started itching my skin in several different spots: my hands, legs and arms. Nothing out of hand, no pun intended, just noticed my skin was noticeably itchy for 30 minutes or so and then fell back asleep. I woke up thirsty but otherwise feeling perfectly fine and no longer itching. Then an hour later noticed eggs and flukes already in less than one day! Also, I wasn’t hungry until after 1pm which is rare for me and I had energy for just the first 4-5 days (also rare). After say 5 my energy took a nose dive that didn’t start to improve until the regimen was almost over. Same steady parasitic observations the following mornings until the 5th day when I barely saw anything. I was a little disappointed it stopped. I had so much energy for four days and then experienced afternoon fatigue on the fifth day which accumulatively got worse and stayed that way. The skin on my chest and back also broke out badly throughout the entire cleanse yet did improve the second three weeks. Other than a fierce skin break out and extreme fatigue, the die off symptoms were mild. My skin started to clear up a tiny bit after 2 1/2 weeks. The detoxing through my skin made it so I couldn’t go out unless I was completely covered. It was quite unsightly but I decided it was worth it if I was going to get this junk out of my system. Regarding more parasitic action during a full moon, my skin broke out more (just the first month during the full moon) but I didn’t have any stool sightings. I took this product during two full moon cycles. After the first week, I barely saw anything else after I went to the bathroom. At the 2.5 week point, I experienced extreme fatigue. It felt like I had chronic fatigue syndrome. I had no energy or impetus to do anything but sleep. I tried the cheaper brand by Nature’s Answer because there was a gap in when my next Intestinal Edge would arrive. Now that stuff really did taste absolutely disgusting and I had to add water to get it down. I will say though that it tasted like something that would absolutely kill parasites. After that bottle, I went back to N.E. But it’s way too expensive. You need a bottle every week for the regimen they suggest. I completed the regimen, but barely saw any during the second three weeks. Overall, would recommend; however, you can make your own in your home and don’t need to spend this amount per bottle. My friend did this and just supplemented from time to time with N.E. I will make my own next time because this product is grossly overpriced for the ingredients and how long it lasts.
