Best tyres I've ever tried
I'm not too pro, but enough to say that this tyres are really awesome, inmediately you ride with this, you can feel de smoothness, you can feel the low resistance with the road. I was a user for vittoria zaffiro pro 2.0 and vittoria rubino pro, the Vittoria it's more durable, but it's more rigid, you can feel every little hole on the road.I definitely will buy another of this.

Best tire for endurance road riding
Been riding with Continental 5000 for 2 years. I have them on my older Carbondale Synapse and now on my brand new BMC Roadmachine 01 Three. BMC came with very nice Vittoria stock tires but I really wanted the Grand Prix 5000 clinchers and got the Pirelli smart latex tubes. Note these tires are very tricky to get on. They are extremely tight fitting. Once on they are great. Recommend going to a pro bike shop. It’s worth $15 a tire to get them installed. The latex are reputed more puncture resistant but can get easily pinched when installing. Beautiful with the tan sidewalks. Ready for riding and lab tested rolling resistance make this tire with these tubes one of the top tires in the world. Never stop riding as it’s a source of fitness salvation and you need the best tires.

Gp5000…. Whats not to love
Fast rolling tire, great looking… I’ve never found them to be very hard to install. A great tire and thats why they’re so popular.

Worth every penny
These tires are amazing. Responsive, roll great, on the lighter side, and grip road well. No complaints so far….have about 400 miles on them.

Rides smooth and looks good
Nice set of 28 mm tires riding at ~85 to 92 psig. Smooth, true and comfortable. Looks good on the bike too. No flats after about 4000 miles.

True to width and rolls fast - awesome tires
Simply terrific tires. They measure up true to width on my H+Son Archetype hoops. They mounted easily enough, used levers to get the final bead over the rim, but nothing extra-ordinary. They roll well, and by well I mean FAST and smooth. The cream colored sidewalls are a nice touch.Conti make absolutely great tires, and you won't go wrong with these.

28mm sixe measures at 29.5mm
When inflated to 75 PSI (the Silca calculator recommendation for my rider/bike weight), these "28mm" tires measure 29.5 at various points around my Roval CF wheels on a 2021 Tarmac SL7. They ARE NOT 28mm tires. The Bicycle Tire Rolling Resistance web site confirms the entire GP5000 range is wider than listed when inflated - at least at the 28mm size. That could be either good news or bad news to you, depending what tire width you want. For me, this turns out to be a good thing. When I bought these in 2023, I wanted to move up 28mm tires from 25mm because just a year ago the trend was to go with 28, including in the pro peloton. Less than a year later and the pros and many others have moved to 30-32mm. Since these tires are much closer to 30mm than they are to 28mm, I'm pretty happy and don't have to buy another set of tires.Keep in mind that if you are using one of the online calculators to determine PSI, that you should use 29mm or 30mm (technically, 29.5 rounds to 30, not 29). That makes a significant difference in recommended PSI.
