I was looking for an alarm that just makes pretty nature sounds like birds or crickets or ocean. Some of the "nature sounds" are cheesy but I've gone with just the waves, I think it's #6, anyway it's nice. The actual time is impossible for me to read across my room (I put it in a position that requires me to actually get out of bed to turn off the alarm) it is very small and orange-colored light.Haven't try the sunrise thing as my room gets a ton of morning light anyway. The LED lights are soothing and at the same time very bright FYI. Overall I'm as happy as I'm going to be because what I'm looking for doesn't exist and this is fine.

Pretty happy with my purchase. I like that the light comes on gradually 30 mins before the alarm. I have had a couple of occasions where I accidentally turned off the alarm as I was setting it, however, because you have to push the alarm button to set the time, and the remember to press it again to set it to go off! I don't use the other functions (colored lights, radio, sunset). I like that I can turn off the numbers of the clock without turning off the clock. Allows for a dark room even when I have the alarm set.

Returned it. Its way too complicated in set up, besides as soon as power is off even for a 1second all the settings are set to original. I couldn't even set radio station. Sounds do sound metallic as posted by someone and also lights are not the same color as shown in description-they are toxic colors. For $35 you can find better clock as far is setting it up.

I love the soothing wake up sounds and the volume control. Its got a sleek look and the color changing mode is cool. What I'm not crazy about is that there does not seem to be able to turn off the light wake up feature. I am a very light sleeper and some mornings as soon as the light starts coming on I'm completely awake even if the alarm hasn't gone off yet.

Good alarm clock, pretty lightweight, not distractingly bright when going to sleep. I don't really know if I notice the light coming on to help me wake up with the sunrise effect, but I do know having that light is helpful in keeping me up once I am awake. Only negative is the short cord, although that can easily be replaced by any micro usb cord. It has taken a few falls from my dresser because of the cord and still works. Will run on either battery or wall power.

Works well. Has a lot of color/wake options. I wake to the gradual white light, and playing of the radio. The buttons are a little small - I find I mash them in the morning sometimes.

Not that easy to program. It doesn't allow to select specific stations as it scans for detectable frequencies only.
