Wife liked it, not good for me
We had a long trans-Pacific flight so we bought one of these for each family member. It is very soft and it is good that it does not push your head forward as much as the typical donut shaped pillows. My wife liked hers. However, my neck was too thick for the pillow. When I used it and leaned back, the side pieces clamped onto my ears and neck causing just enough pressure to be slightly uncomfortable. For me, sleeping was impossible given that I could hear my pulse in my ears due to the pressure fit. I was more comfortable without the pillow. I am thinking of cutting and lengthening the central portion and see if it is improved.

So far so go.
I have bought and tried all different types and kinds of travel pillows. None of them worked very well for me. I would always just end up balling up my sweatshirt and if I was lucky I would have the window seat so I would use the sweatshirt and window to rest and relax during a flight. Now I have yet to use this on a flight but I have used it in the car and it worked great. The support was great for my head and neck. I was able to twist and turn this pillow when I needed to move or change positions. I would recommend this pillow to anyone. Now only was the support great like I said before but the cover is nice, soft and comfortable. If you travel I would get this pillow.

great product for 'cattle car' economy flying
I have not yet flown with this travel pillow, but have been experimenting with it here at home in my lounge chair. I really like the fact it doesn't push my head forward due to the way it's constructed - there's not a bunch of filling behind my neck like there is with the U-shaped neck pillows. By that fact alone I know I'll be more comfortable using it while trying to sleep on overseas flights. My neck is supported from each side, and the pods actually absorb surrounding sound so the TV and radio are definitely muffled. Fortunately, my noise-cancelling headphones are the ear-bud style, as there isn't much room between my ears and the pods. If you have the over-the-head, exterior headphones, I think the pods would push them too tightly against your ears, possibly painfully so. There are 2 different ways to wear the pods - the photo shows the snuggest fit (with the flat circular side against your head); by turning them to the outside and around, the rounded 'edge' of each pod is against your head (the side with the handles in the photo, though they don't face your head) - this way is a looser fit, though still comfortable and snug.I've had no problem stuffing them back into the carry sack; the the sack 'handle' is elastic and will stretch to slide it over the extension handle on your suitcase, regardless of size. The Kuhi web site also had a model with fake 'fleece' on the circular side, and a model made out of satin (so it won't mess up your hair, ladies; my long hair does get caught in the velvety material this model is made out of, but it's also very soft to have against your face & neck).

Really? Didn't work for me.
What in the world!? These looked so cool! The video on the website showed easy to use and able to hold the head up. It doesn't work at all! It's like two pom poms with a strap in the middle. ? I also see why people mention that it's small. I am a female and I could never get this to fit. I really wanted this to work but it didn't. Back it goes.

So good it made me write my first review
I've used Amazon for years and I've never been motivated to write a review, until this pillow came along. Be patient with the supplier. It's worth the wait. I travel a lot on business, including a lot of international trips, and I've been buying pillows looking for the best for a while now. I tried the TempurPedic brand, figuring that since squishy memory foam seems awesome, it would be great, but it never quite worked because the ring shape and firmness of the pillow pushes my neck forward and prevents air flow. So, I end up sweaty and tired at the end of my flight, with a kink in my neck.I had basically given up on the idea of sleeping on planes until I came across a column online comparing travel pillows. I decided to give this one a shot when the columnist claimed to have successfully slept in a middle seat. Since I bought it, I have slept on most of my flights, including a couple of times in a middle seat. If you had told me 6 months ago that I could pull that off, I wouldn't have believed you. This pillow is amazing!

I like the fact it comes in a little bag and the material feels very nice. It is not as comfortable as I thought it would be, I wish the back piece would provide a bit more support.

it's okay
A great idea, I just didn't find it as comfy as I hoped it would be. Was helpful on a trip from the East Coast to Hawaii, but I haven't bothered with it for short flights.

Finally something that helps me sleep on a plane!
I travel quite a bit for work and find it very difficult to sleep on planes. I have tried different neck pillows to varying success - some have even given me headaches. I did a lot of research and heard good things about the Kuhi comfort pillow so I took the plunge and bought one. I am happy to say the Kuhi was extremely comfortable and I was able to get a few hours sleep on my last flight! The design is great in that it does not push your neck forward like other U pillows. The ear cushions naturally keep your head snugly in place when you lean back against the seat and is very comfortable. The only drawback is the bulk, but the case has a strap which allows you to hook it over your suitcase handle. I highly recommend this for long flights or any time you need to catch some zzz's when sitting upright.
