Wifi RF could pose serious health hazard!!
This scope is very well designed and very well made. I was and still is very impressed! It has a 6-axis accelerometer (not mentioned in description) that keeps rotating the picture if the scope/probe is rotated so that the view is always in the right reference orientation. It could be quite confusing if you don’t expecting this function while rotating the ear picker to help cleaning the ear.BKWIFI is a no frills app but it works very well. To use it, one has to disconnect from your current internet network and re-connect it directly to the scope’s Wifi signal. When the scope is switched “off,” your phone/tablet will automatically be reconnected to your default network.I brought the scope mainly to examine my ears and use it as an otoscope. Initially I didn’t stay too long at one location and loitered only near the entrance of the ear canal. After awhile I became more confident and pushed the scope a bit deeper (still nothing touching the canal) but stayed there stationary a bit longer (~1 or 2 minutes) so that I could take better video of the ear drums. That was where the problems started. Right after I felt my hearing was different and a couple hours later I felt my balance was off. That evening I started to have vertigo and dizziness. Next morning I felt really sick with nausea, vomiting, and stomach discomfort. My symptoms are very similar to the mysterious “Havana Syndrome.” It took two days for me to feel better!I believe the Wifi RF signal got to close to my inner ear (cochlear & vestibular). The Wifi signal is not strong enough that requires FCC label. However, the video is uploaded to the phone at very high speed. My scope was connected at 54 Mbps (only 10 Mbps or less is required for regular HD streaming).I think for regular wax picking is probably fine for adults since the picker moves around a lot and likely stays quite a bit away from the ear drum. Do not have the probe stay stationary and close to the ear drum! For better safety and kids, it’s best to stick to a wired and not a wireless scope/picker.Obviously this Wifi RF health issue is not unique to ScopeAround, and is in common with all the Wifi otoscope/pickers. All manufacturers should put a Wifi RF warning label on the device!

Wowza
I’ve been curious about these things for so long and my 6 year old has been having the dirtiest ears. Ever 4 days it seems like so much wax i clean out of his ears I had to see what was going on there. The device is really straight forward and has a light at the end that you can place the different head attachments onto. It comes with lots of different spoons and scoops and they all come sterile in packaging and alcoholic wipes to clean off (they do get dirty and sticky). Mine and my husbands ears were super clean there was nothing fun to see but wholly molly my 6 year old ears! My ocd kicked it and I actually got pleasure making sure I got every area squeeky clean. My 6 year old also loved watching the inside of his ear on my phone as I cleaned them. Cool fact- the light alone lets you see in there quite good good- the inside video just lets you see more and deeper. I suspect this could be very handy to diagnose ear infections and such. None of the pieces are hard on the ear but would only let an adult use it when getting close to any ear drum. The app is very simple and I did that very quickly. Taking pics and video recorded took me a while to figure out. I originally included all the gross ear pictures cause I wanted to show how much you can see but they were denied so maybe its for the best and would make you puke haha. For me personally and my son- we found it like a rad anatomy lesson and it was neat to see. Cool things like this exsist.

Bright light
When it comes to using this ear wax tool, I did have to read the instructions to figure out how to work this. What I really like was the ease of the app. Once you download and connect the otoscope to it, I was able to easily maneuver this to either take pictures or even video if I want to. The light on the end is bright enough to see the smallest hairs in either the nose or ear. The tips that comes with this tool are really easy to clean. I found that using an alcohol wipe or pad works a lot easier and better. On the camera tip, I found that using a cotton swat works well when it comes to cleaning the tip. I dip one side with rubbing alcohol to help loosen and wipe things off. I then use the dry tip to help wipe off any excess alcohol. I have used this tool on both nostrils and ears and not matter which one I use this on, I'm able to see what I need to and clean. Even helps with video doctor appointments.

Very useful
A great product. My son had a lot of buildup in his ear and this product was very useful. After a while the picture wasnt as clear, but still worth it.
