Premium Horn Metal Shaving Safety Razor Handle

I recently returned to DE Wet Shaving and bought this razor (Boss Razor) based on a few reviews. First shave ended up with a half dozen (or more) cuts. Second shave two days later, same but worse. Third shave, worse yet plus cut my finger (my fault). It is probably me, but this razor and my technique just don't match. Purchased a Merkur, and first shave was cut free...perfect. So this razor will go into the waste bin. FYI, I washed face, applied hot towel, applied a pre-shave cream, and applied shave soap with brush, etc. Though I have not used a DE Safety Razor for 30 years, I used them for several years in my early 20s and don't remember any cuts other than the occasional whoops....

I thought it was poorly made, and didn't work at all. I shaved with another razor. Then looking closely I saw that I had the bottom part of the head on upside down. I changed my review fro 1 star to 5 and I will update it in a few days when I am ready to shave again.

Good quality. Looks very classy. I got it for my boyfriend who's a woodsmen/trapper. He really likes the weight and feel of it as compared to other razors or plastic non-wet-shave razors. He won't stop wet shaving now, freaking loves this thing and the assorted accessories I bought with it! But especially this razor. hahah

Very nice! Good weight and handle length. I will purchase another, but the next time I will try one with the butterfly opening.

I got this as a replacement when I dropped and broke my previous razor handle. I was a little worried it would look or feel cheap based on the price, but it looks great and has a nice heft to it.

This is from a lady. My husband uses a safety razor but that handle is SS and short and had a tendency to slip out of my hands when shaving the stems. Plus he would get all pissy when his blade would go dull, go figure. So I looked around for one of my own and found this very reasonably priced, good looking model. I was skeptical as well since something that good in a picture and less than $20 seemed too good to be true but once I got it! It is beautiful and heavy and fits in my hand perfectly. The ONLY complaint I have (and it is not worth losing a star for) is that when I go to unscrew the head to change the blade or blow out the moisture, I unscrew the handle knob instead. It just is going to take me some practice. Very happy and would recommend this product.

My roommate is a shaving aficionado, if there is such a thing.,, but he is always looking for the best shaving tools. I thought I would join in on the shaving fun and treat myself to a shiny new shaving handle. BOY was he jealous! This handle not only looks good, but feels good. I love the weight of it, this handle is no cheap product. Did I mention the looks? I feel like James Bond with this thing! It is cool and stylish. What's not to like? Good price, Quality product , looks great, and I get a smooth shave! 5 stars all around.

At first I was skeptical about this, but when I received it, I was really impressed with the quality. The handle design helps with the grip. It has some weight on it that makes it feel that it's meant to last. I was able to get a very close shave with it....brought memories of when I used to see my father shaving when I was a little kid. Highly recommend this shaver!
