Purchased as a gift for my daughter, she has very long and VERY heavy hair so it's great when we find something that actually works. These little wooden kitties are pretty, well made, and very sturdy and they look awfully cute perched on top of her bun!

These are the best for adding a little decoration to my hair style. They are not gaudy, and I love that they are always noticed and complimented.

These are cute and pretty comfortable. They’re not the sturdiest hair fork I’ve used but they don’t really need to be.

EDIT: Even though it was much smaller than I expected, I think I just had to learn how to use it properly to make it work. Now I regret giving it 3 stars as it's one of my favorite go-to's. Wonderful 100%. It will be tight for very long hair, but I was able to make it work for tail-bone length and it would stay nice and firm all day with no pressure on my scalp. That past tail-bone length hair recently got chopped to mid-back length and this hairpin is still a beautiful creation and my go-to updo tool. Gonna buy more!!!__________________________________________________________________________You know, I read the whole 4.6 inches thing and I guess I didn't really realize how small that was for a hairpiece because the pictures are 100% photoshopped and not to scale.... it's like half the size they show in the pictures lol - go grab a ruler.Otherwise, cute and nice looking. It's a tight squeeze to hold a bun with my hair. My hair is moderate thickness but also long past my tailbone. It'll probably work for most straight haired people with medium length hair nicely. Just wish it was a bit bigger for the price/practicality :)

Love these hair pins! I can do my hair half up or all up, in a bun or a French twist. I just watched a few YouTube vids to figure out how to use it. Surprisingly easy! And the hairstyle holds all day without extra bobby pins or hairspray (and I'm a hospital healthcare worker! My days can get wild!). I have long 2C-3A type curly hair. These pins have replaced my claw clips.

I really like the black cat, I'm giving the brown one to my Bestie. We both love cats! They are well made and not too big and heavy.

I have medium thick hair, straight, and long. I’m able to use a pencil to hold my hair up so I thought why not get something cuter? Yea… these are the size of my hand, not very big. I even tried to do half my hair to see if it’ll manage but it couldn’t even do half up half down. Giving it three bc it is sturdy and cute just didn’t work for me and my hair type… maybe for super thin hair or medium short hair. I’m not sure but I do hope these work out for someone!

Absolute beauty! Works super well, I purchased the three prong with diamond shaped cutout. Very active and it stays with a quick adjust here or there but same with any bands or pins. I do have very thick med-long curly hair tho so this may not be ideal for very fine silky hair or shorter cuts unless it's fastened with something else and just used as decoration
