Peanut Jones and the Illustrated City: from the creator of Draw with Rob Paperback – 17 March 2022

This is a fun story full of adventure and excitement, with a sensitive angle on not fitting in and an absent parent. I read it to my daughter and she was really engaged in the story and the characters. So much so we’ve moved straight on to the next book in the series. The chapters are short which is ideal when tired kids really need to sleep but would like a quick story before bed.

This is a present for my granddaughter and she does have it yet as her birthday is next month

I really like Rob Biddulph’s writing style and illustrations. If you want to get a flavour for this book, have a look on YouTube where he reads chapter 14 and 19 to give a good idea of the use of language and art style.The hard back has a good text size for independent reading and has a lovey weight and print quality.Looking forward to reading this to my daughter when she’s old enough as the KS2 class enjoyed it

Really imaginative story that is very well illustrated.

An amazing story, full of adventure and wonder, the art work of course is just as brilliant, my 8yr old is obsessed with this story ….. so am I
