Fishing on Thin Ice (Wilderness Ridge)

My son (8) and daughter (10) loves this book.

The story line is very relateable for today's kids. Chapters are short and descriptive. It's great that lessons are learned and learning new things are mingled throughout the adventure. I appreciate the "Talk about it", "Write about it" and "More about ice fishing" sections of the book because they help the reader expand their comprehension and commincation skills both verbally and in writing. Well done.
