Mirrotek Pleated Window Paper Shades Room Darkening Blinds Black 36" x 69" (Pack of 6 Temporary Shades)

I purchased these blinds for my sunroom because the summer sun heats it up, a lot. My plants love the sun, but it gets too hot for me. I do not have all of my windows covered, but did use these six blinds, and it has made a big difference. They are easy to install. I use clips (like potato chip bag clips) to hold them up when I want to raise them up some to let my plants catch some rays. I have been using them about 3 months, and I have not had any problems. When you install them, use the thumb tacks they provide, because the adhesive does not stick at all. I used 3 tacks on each blind, one on each end and one in the middle.

Super easy to customize and install. They look great. I use clips to keep them raised when the need arises. Bought as a temporary window cover until I decide on permanent shades. These look so good that I’m in no hurry to buy expensive shades.

There is a reason why they are called temporary blinds and luckily they are only temporary. They come with a sticky strip on top, but it does not stick to drywall. Every single one fell down within 10 minutes of hanging them up, so that’s why we had to use painter’s tape. After we used painter’s, we haven’t had an issue with them falling down and it’s been almost 2 weeks now. Again, these are paper, so they are temporary for a reason, but the only positive thing I can say about them is… we did notice a difference when we put them up vs not having any, so they do work a TINY bit, more so at night time to keep light out, but morning… it does not keep the sun out. These should be half the price in my opinion…

Love these! Tried a few different kinds and this product is one of the better/thicker paper options available for temporary blinds. Cons: Adhesive not as strong as I would like, so I added double sided adhesive - works like a charm. Clips are not the best, I prefer the pinch clips that come with other brands but again, the blinds themselves are better than most available.

Works amazing for what it is. Easy to trim, easy to put up, and blocks out alot of light (if not all). Babies room is so dark now I think his nap time will improve.

So I love that it darkens the room but I came home the next day and they were on the ground. Definitely need to use the tacks because the adhesive is not that strong. Also I prefer clips over the plastic strips that it comes with to hold the curtains up. They come off as well. That’s why I gave 4 stars.

I was very nervous about this product initially but saw several reviews about adding to a baby’s room and working wrll. Our baby’s room was too bright for him to sleep well during the day so figured I’d give these a shot for now and it works amazingly! The pictures don’t do it justice because my phone went into a dark mode and adjusted it lighter for picture quality. Very happy with the product.

I thought I was buying complete blackout shades but you can definitely see through these. Fortunately there are enough that I can double up and it works well. The sticky tape is not strong at all but it comes with thumb tacks so you can tack them up. Overall they work but you’ll have to use multiple layers for complete blackout.

Easy to install and cut to your size.
