The included razor knife is very sharp and effective at cutting up cardboard boxes; making light work of breaking down Amazon boxes. When the original razor had a minor issue, I emailed the company asking if I could buy a new one, but they ended up agreeing to send me a replacement for free! If that isn't great support from a company that stands behind their products, I don't know what is.The overall quality of the tape itself can be broken down a few ways:Solar Resistance (4.5/5)You may have some minor issues if you don't get the tape flat on a box's surface and then leave the box in the sun for an extended period of time. This is sort of an issue with any clear packing tape, only products such as Duct Tape are really suitable for that sort of environment. While it is not a knock against this type of tape, its a fair rating given the full spectrum of options.Sticking Power (5/5)If you're not careful you'll find yourself getting pieces stuck to you very easily. However, even when your fingers take a little bit of the adhesive off, the tape is still very effective. In terms of long-duration stability under humid conditions, I cannot comment, however it appears to work extremely well in dry warm climates.Thickness / Rigidity (4.5/5)The thickness of the tape is a nice middle ground between other options out there. Some may find it a little thinner than they may like, but the overall integrity of the polymer used is quite good. You get a little bit of a chemical smell when you first open the packaging but it will dissipate on its own in short order.Ease of Use (4.5/5)Some people find peeling the rolls at first is difficult, but a handy trick is setting a very thin extension of the blade on the razor knife included and then maneuvering the point until you can get the dull side under the top layer of the roll. Once the dull edge is under, you can run the blade across and separate the layer. It takes a moment to get used to doing this each time, but once you have the roll opened up and on a regular dispenser, it is very effective.Value (5/5)The extra length and savings is the trade off you deal with when selecting this option over others that may be more convenient in the sun, have easier pull tabs for starting a roll or using it without a dispenser. When you factor in the included razor knife as a bonus that would cost $0.50-1.50 at minimum, the total package being $9 for 8 rolls becomes very appealing. You simply are not going to find better tape for any less money. Furthermore, the fact the company stands behind their product means that your $9 investment in their brand is not so small that they are willing to lose you in the future. They want you coming back and will do what it takes to ensure you stay happy.Overall (4.7/5 Average)In the end, if you use a lot of tape, this is the go-to option on Amazon you should be buying. Air it out after you first open it up and remember to use the razor to start new rolls, you won't be disappointed. Just remember, most complaints people have about tape are often not actually about the quality of the tape as tape. The majority of issues people report in reviews on tape have to do with them using packing tape - designed to be used in a dispenser - without one, or because the clear tape is hard to see the starting point due to their lighting or eye conditions they blame the manufacturer instead of getting glasses or preparing a fresh roll in a well lit area. For the rest of us, our common sense will agree that this is a purchase we can make without feeling any sense of regret.

The item arrived very quickly. The tape is a good quality. Our purpose was for something heavier than the cheap stuff from a Wal-Mart type store but not as heavy duty as the really thick 3M Heavy Duty Version. This is middle of the line product and thickness which makes it very manageable. Strong enough to hold packaging together , sticks well and the price makes it impossible for any rational person to complain about. I did get the knife as well. I noticed some people said they didn't but I'm sure if they emailed the seller , he would of sent them the knife. I was contacted to make sure I was satisfied and if I needed any assistance with anything to contact the seller. This says a lot about the seller since its such a minimal purchase that you would think he would not waste his time to even send an email. For you critics of everything.....I don't care if its generic email or not. He included my name, thanks me for purchase and asks if I need anything else. A+++ from me! You will be happy with this stuff.

I have been using this tape for shipping packages almost daily for several months now and think it is a great value for the cost. My only complaint is that sometimes it is difficult to find the edge of the piece of tape to use it, but this might be operator error haha. It occasionally sticks to itself while wrangling a long piece, again, operator error because most any tape will do this if the piece is long enough. I don't find myself grumbling about the tape and also don't have to throw much of it away due to mishaps. Could you find a brand of tape that is thicker, sure, but you will pay more for it and why do that when this brand works perfectly well? The free razor knife is a nice touch and I use that pretty much daily as well, works well for free.

Great tape. Crystal clear, strong and low odor. It's no overly fumy like some other cheap tapes I have tried. I have not tried the free razor that came with it, but it looks good. You may think it's missing from the package at first because it was packed inside the rolls of tape which makes sense. Definitely feels like a premium, strong, and sticky tape. My only complaint is it was hard to start the roll. The start of a roll is not an easy flap like some tapes, it takes some effort to find the end and pull it up. Their's a starter strip, but at least on the first roll it was not actually at the end of the tape which was frustrating. However, that small issue aside, I highly recommend this tape.

Great price! But quality is not the best. These packing tapes are VERY thin. It breaks easily and tounqould need to go over each tape to ensure that what your packaging is sealed properly.I suggest to pay more for a better product.

The quality of the tapes are bad, it tears easily and can't stick to my packages; difficult to use and I always need to figure out where to open it. Worst tapes I have ever used. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! By the way, I didn't get the razor knife while I got this tape package. UPDATE: I did find the razor knife hided inside the tapes. The knife quality is better than tapes, but what I bought were tapes and hopefully the quality will improve.
