Sesame Street Girls Pyjamas Elmo

I ordered a 4-5 size for my petite, almost 4 year old huge elmo fan and read the reviews where people had mentioned it being too tight. The pyjama and the shirt is perfect in length for her, the shirt is snug fit and the trousers are not a very snug fit. I will have to tighten the elastic on the waist as they are falling off her!! I agree with other reviewers that the arms are tight, but if the toddler is petite, they will be fine and also tend to loosen slightly after the first wear.The material is soft and color is lovely. I have yet to wash it, so cannot comment on how well it washes. I will update the review at a later stage, once they have been subjected to the laundry test!

These pyjamas were bought for an 12+ month old toddler. The bottoms had plenty of excess length for growing limbs, but the top was very fitted with no excess room for growth. The material was thinner than expected which made the pyjamas feel cheap. As far as good value goes, I accept paying a little more for a themed product, but the lack of using a higher quality material and the lack of equal growing room in the pyjama top and bottoms is disappointing

After reading the reviews I ordered a 3-4 despite buying these for my son's 2nd birthday. If it wasn't for 'Elmo' logo I would have sent these back. Like others i agree the shirt is extremely small, the sleeves had to be hemmed just to fit down my son's arm. We are now considering removing the front picture of Elmo and putting it on a different shirt as even being now short sleeved, it still doesn't fit properly in the shoulders and is very tight in the body. The trousers are better but again very tight in the ankles. The waist band is generous. Overall these are just very poorly made. But, they're Elmo and my son loves them. Good thing we can make alterations.

I had to return this item as I noticed it was far too small when I opened the packaging to look at it. I should have checked the reviews as noticed there are already several saying the pyjamas are too small.

Whilst the quality of the material is good the sizing is less so. I ordered the 3-4 for my daughter who is 3 but on the small side (she is still in a lot of 2-3 size clothing) the idea being that there would be plenty of growing room for her. The top is already very snug particularly around the arms and torso. In fact if my daughter wasn’t such a little ‘dot’ they would not have fit her - so I advise to order a size bigger than you need.

I ordered size 4 for my 2 year old because the other reviews said they come up small. They weren’t lying. He fits them now but won’t for long. The sleeves on the top are especially ‘tight’. Like bandages. Fabric feels quite ‘nylon’ but he loves them, so we’re happy. Oh - wasn’t sure why these were specified as ‘girls’ - think its due to the envelope shoulders which do look a little feminine.

The pattern on this is super-cute, but the top is so tight it looks like some kind of surgical support garment! When I opened the wrapper there was a tag saying that the fit was tight due to safety reasons... but my LO is on the small side and the top is so tight (especially around the arms) that we cannot use it at all. The bottoms are however a good fit, so we have half a pair of Elmo PJs.
