Great customer service
I was contacted by the seller who sent me a second new light free of charge. I am editing my review based on their timely shipping and wanting to see if the production line fixed the issue. It arrived today (daylight savings may limit its charge) but I feel that the seller more than made my bad experience right, and I am changing my review.I am super pleased with the look and feel of this outdoor lamp. I am happy I get to give it a try again.Initial review: This has a sturdy base and lantern (definitely top heavy!) instructions said it needed 6 hex nuts (there were only 3) and reply to email was answered promptly. Unfortunately, the lamp stopped working after 3 days of testing it in the patio tables umbrella hole. Customer service sent a replacement which was returned by someone due to a bad remote with water damage. No extra hex nuts and promised ones never arrived. Customer service refunded complete amount and had it picked up by UPS easy enough. Wish we could have waited for the next production run but were on a magazine deadline. We needed lots of height and planned to do the cement base in a wine barrel.

Really attractive - super easy to assemble
I had purchased one of these and when it arrived and I saw how nice it was, I ordered another one right away. I had originally bought it with the intent of using only the pole portion and using and actual antique lamp for the top. When I saw how attractive and well made the lamps are - I changed course and now are using the lamp post as is. The light is really bright - I was surprised!. The only bugaboo I had was picking up the wrong size cement form to make the base. Get a 12" round tube form! And when I poured the cement in the form, I had it about 8 inches above the ground and spray painted it black after it cured. It looks fantastic when installed on the base. The post comes in 3 sections that screw and bolt together. Once together its really sturdy and you can never tell is isn't a single pole. Really terrific value for the money!

Does the job
It looks great and was easy to set up. The solar battery is not so great and all the light setting reset what it turns of in the daytime. On a sunny day you can expect about 5 hours light come that night which is honestly not that bad.

Full sun still won’t turn on at night
Unfortunately it’s not ever going to be recommended by me. I should have tested it thoroughly before I implanted it in the ground. I’ve swapped out the cheap remotes batteries and tried what little I could to get it to work again. It’s seems simple enough but it’s not simple if the thing doesn’t work. For the price we’ve paid it’s only worth maybe 40.00. Reminds me of a Dollar Store type just hyped up thanks to Amazon. Don’t do it 💡 not

Love this lamp post.
Love this lamp post. Had a different one but exchanged for this one. It's over 6 foot. Very bright. Sturdy post which gets wider at the bottom. Easy installation, hardware included. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Junk!!!! Save your money! They don’t warranty!
Where do I even start…..I figured these lights would last a year or so….wrong they lasted like a month. No customer service and whatever warranty they advertised is BS. Both light’s batteries are bad after a month. I had to resolider some components on the mother boards that were not installed properly. I replaced both batteries. One light I had to jb weld the bottom of the thin cast aluminum bracket because it broke when I was tightening it. These lights are in direct Louisiana sunlight all day long the solar panels on top are decent but everything else is junk. The wire connections in the lights weren’t even crimped together properly. I plan on throwing these POS in the trash soon. Save your money and just buy something else instead

Satisfied
This lamp was easy to assemble however, it calls for 400 pound concrete base to mount it on. So it’s definitely a little work to mix the concrete (about 4-6 bags). I suppose a little over kill, but I did it. And once mounted - it is NOT moving! We used it in a small flower garden and love how it adds light after the sun goes done.
