This is a well built device that has some faults that are eradicated with the app. It pulls in stations from everywhere and it fixes my issues with weak signal DAB stations. It really is very good but some of the design choices need the App to correct, all of the selection of stations beyond the four physical preset buttons are easier in the app, as is the sleep selection of up to 120 mins. As a Bluetooth speaker it is as good as any mid range Bose and fully customisable sound. Yep it’s not the prettiest, but it’s well built, sounds superb and brings interference free internet radio to the bedroom.

It’s a brilliant piece of kit ! The sound is fantastic- you can easily adjust the bass and treble in settings making it sound better than apple homepods , internet radio is faultless, Bluetooth the same ,, it looks expensive and the design is classy , I bought the battery with it so it goes anywhere, perfect!

Great sound

This beats anything Roberts or Majority do at this price point - by a large margin. Firstly its well designed and classy, it doesn't look like some sub 3d printed nightmare, it's metal and wool. Its got stereo tweeters underneath and a genuinely loud presence with good strong bass - only if you need it. Roberts radios haven't moved on with their 'voice for radio' sound - and if the Pure has too much power, just EQ within the app. Most internet radios however use the same interface and this is what annoys me a bit, so a Majority and this have exactly the same protocol. I've never understood why you can only store a few presets though. I want to store hundreds of internet stations. Still, the generic UI aside, this is miles better sounding, has more gravitas, is reasonable value and just works well.

Great sound quality, easy to use, and looks stylish too. Only gripe is that I wish the cable were a little longer as it doesn't quite reach the shelf that I want it to. Otherwise no complaints!

Great sound easy to use and set up good quality product deep base sound from a small device I love listening to radio but now I’m able to stream music to this device. I hade a pure dab radio many years ago on my kitchen window sill loved listening while cooking so when my old radio started playing up I decided to upgrade to a pure radio again and it was a good offer I love listening to it again

This radio is not only pleasant to look and has excellewnt audio but has an especially well designed and easy to use " User Interface " Having struggled for a couple of years with the multi button Roberts radio which drove us crazy this radio is a dream. And for those who want to access internet radio stations you can use the pre-sets for your favourite internet stations. Turn the radio --press a preset --and off you go. You can, of course , use pre-sets for DAB, FM etc . Each radio source can have its own pre-sets. Changing the source is also a doddle --just toggle the source button --simples. Some reviews say the audio has a boomy bass for music - but if you wish this is easily adjusted by adjusting the simple to access and use EQ.

Très bonne radio internet pour écouter n'importe quelle chaine de radio du monde entier. Mise en route très simple et intuitive, possibilité de mémoriser un grand nombre de stations. Le son est très bon et le design est vraiment très beau. A voir dans le temps mais pour l'instant très satisfait de cet achat.

Ho comprato questa radio non solo per il sound, ma anche per l'estetica. Ho scelto il modello bianco con fronte in legno. Così bello e leggero da vedere...e poi il produttore lo alimenta con un cavo nero. Che delusione☹️

Il fait vraiment bonne figure dans mon bureau. Il épate mes visiteurs pour la qualité du son. j'en suis ravi.

Ich habe es einmal riskiert nach ewiger Recherche "early adopter" zu sein. Mir hat das Radio (bei mir vorwiegend als Küchenradio eingesetzt) auf den ersten Blick sehr gut gefallen und auch die Spezifikationen, die ich suchte (v.a. DAB+, Internetradio, Bluetooth), schienen gegeben. Spotify nutze ich (noch) nicht. Also bestellt ... und ich bin mit meiner Wahl bisher sehr zufrieden. Vor allem das Bedienungskonzept überzeugt (endlich einmal). Für jede Quelle lassen sich a) auf die vier Knöpfe oben rechts Favoriten legen und wenn das nicht reicht, dann kann man unter dem aufklappbaren Display über den "Favoriten" Knopf noch einmal schnell abrufbare Favoriten in größerer Anzahl abspeichern (allerdings in unterschiedlich Zahl je nach Quelle, warum auch immer). Der Empfang ist bei mir top und die Auswahl an Sendern (v.a. Internetradio) erschlägt einen fast. Pro: - Display ist super und funktioniert prima. - Störende Beleuchtung läßt sich abschalten. - Design: wirkt skandinavisch schlicht und gefällt mir auch in echt. Aus chauvinistischer Sicht: WAF-Faktor auch top! - Der Klang ist aus audiophiler Sicht basslastig und nicht unbedingt ausgewogen, lässt sich aber per Equalizer anpassen. Für ein Radio in der Küche oder für "zwischendurch" auf dem Balkon etc. absolut angemessen. - Die Einbindung bei mir über WLAN lief problemlos. - Updates erscheinen zur Zeit regelmäßig und gehen schnell (v.a. was das Internet-Radio betrifft, aber nicht nur). - Bisher waren nach Updates (2x) alle (!) meine Einstellungen noch da. Das ist heutzutage leider nicht selbstverständlich. - Das Teil hat ordentlich "Wums" ... ohne im oberen Bereich stark zu verzerren. - Die Lautstärke reicht für meine Bedürfnisse völlig (!) aus. - Ich verbinde das Evoke Play oft mit meinen Handys/Tablets über Bluetooth... funktionierte bisher tadellos. Contra: - Das wusste ich, aber beim weißen Modell sind die Knöpfe wirklich schwer ablesbar (aber schnell zu erlernen). - Man hat es ja aufgegeben, aber warum zu einem schicken weißen Radio eine absolut hässliche schwarze "Wandwarze" zur Stromversorgung mitgeliefert wird, das erschließt sich mir auch im 21. Jahrhundert nicht. Wenigstens weiß, aber ... nein, wieder nicht! Das Kabel ist immerhin für meine Bedürfnisse mehr als lang genug! Batterie/Akku: - Ich habe mir, nachdem ich das Radio einige Tage erfolgreich und mit viel Spaß (!) durch meinen Bedarfsparcours getrieben hatte, den dazugehörigen Akku über die Hersteller-Webseite gekauft (Lieferung in meinem Fall am nächsten Tag), aber erst, nachdem ich deren Spezifikationen erfragt hatte. - Der Akku hat ein Limit von 500 Ladezyklen! Das finde ich, bei einem Preis von fast 80 Euro, etwas dünn. - Aber: der Akku läßt sich (etwas fummelig) relativ leicht einbauen (auf Youtube gibt es dazu ein Video, das den Einbau einfacher als in der Wirklichkeit erscheinen läßt, v.a. wenn man, wie ich, große Hände hat), der Akku hält im täglichen Gebrauch aber auch sehr lange und ohne die oben erwähnte "Wandwarze" ist das Teil einfach noch schicker und bei mir wirklich ohne jegliche Qualitätseinbußen überall zu gebrauchen (auch draußen). Fazit: Für mich ein überraschend gutes Gerät und ein lohnender Kauf, der mich wieder zum Radiohören gebracht hat. Jetzt hoffe ich als "early adopter" nur noch, dass das Pure Evoke Play länger hält als "Garantiezeit + einen Tag". Das wird sich noch zeigen müssen, denn da habe ich in der Vergangenheit schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht.
