Took a gamble...
Personally, I don't understand why a piece of plastic and some adhesive tabs is so expensive, but it is what it is.I took a chance on this budget screen with no reviews and don't regret it. This appears to be just as effective as any of the other name brand models for significantly less. It's gloss on one side and matte on the other in case you have a preference.I have an ASUS G752VY (17.3 inch display) and it fits perfect. The pictures up top show installation with tabs, like most do. However, it also comes with the permanent mount clear double sided adhesive (see pics). In the zero degree position, the pic is showing darkness on each side, which I'm not seeing with me eyes. It is slightly dimmed overall. (Keep in mind, my laptop is also on close to the lowest brightness setting.) The 30 degree photo seems darker in real life but still not completely blacked out on the closest ~50% of the display like the product picture. Anyway, it's good enough for what I need it for. I'm pretty happy with it overall. I'm especially happy not paying what a Targus or 3M costs for the same result.

Packed in a piece of folded cardboard?
I was not impressed with it's ability to block views from an angle. Sitting to one side the amount of an adjacent seat on the plane, I could still see pretty much everything on the screen. But what really turned me off on this was the way it was packaged. It was taped between a folder piece of cardboard. It looks like they bought a bunch of these bulk with no packaging and just used whatever they had to ship them. There was no instructions on how to mount it included. There are some directions in the listing, but it is not very informative.
