brotherhood a wonderful thing
Outstanding. Riley has her women tough, soft, loyal, independent, caring, lethal. I like the way all the teams, Delta, Seals, green Beret, etc interwoven from all other authors working together. Tatiana is bruised, scarred, been a POW, and survived. She is ex CIA, works solo black ops and has met up with the Gold team on an op. Brooks is drawn to her. But she wants no part of them messing up her mission. They need to work together but can she be trusted. Artifacts are being stolen and auctioned off. Tatiana is in the middle following the money and have it go to good causes. The Gold team, Rocco and Ghosts team get involved. Tatiana’s handler tries to set her up to be eliminated, Brooks and Tatiana are like water and oil, but the draw is on fire. So much action. Too much to out in a review, read on. Riley’s stories are so alive and such a web to unwind. Read on. Great series.

Brooks and Tatiana
After finishing the Red Team series I wasn’t expecting to love the first book in the Gold Team series as much as I did. Brooks was such a sweet talker and I loved that he fell first and saw the hesitation in Tatiana as a challenge instead of a turn off. Brooks was perfect for Tatiana. Even though he was very alpha and wanted to protect her, he had no trouble recognizing her strength and letting her protect herself.Tatiana had been burned by love in the past and had preconceived notions about how big, alpha, SEALs acted. It took awhile for her to let Brooks in. She was uncomfortable with scars left from being tortured and that was another hurdle Brooks had to get over with her. I loved that even when he had to dish out some tough love he never gave up on Tatiana.Since Brooks and Tatiana met on an op, this book had a lot of action. There were layers of secrets to be uncovered while the team worked to take out anything associated with Omni. Both Brooks and Tatiana were exceptionally strong characters. They worked well as a team. Tatiana fit in flawlessly with the Gold Team and I can’t wait to see them in action in future books.

Great book
I really enjoyed this book. There was great chemistry between Brooks and Tatiana right from the beginning. I like watching how Brooks fell for her. The dialogue was good and I can see how they fell in love for each other. Tatiana had some self esteem issues after her divorce and previous Op but overall, she’s a very strong woman and is very capable in combat. I like that even though she had moments of doubt, the author didn’t belabor on it and she snapped out of it pretty well. The plot was interesting and kept me enthralled. Ending was a little quick but it was fine for me. I liked how the author suggested I read Securing Caite by Susan Stoker first since this storyline overlapped a little with her book. Not necessary to enjoy this book but it helped a little to know that backstory.I recommend this book and can see me reading this book again in the future.

Ah, Brooks and Tatiana...combustible together!
Wow! So many twists, turns and secrets exposed it was hard to keep up with it all but I was frantically flipping pages doing my best to do so. Edwards certainly takes us on a crazy ride with Brooks, book one in her new Gold Team series. The deeper you delve into the book, the more exciting it becomes. This is a constant action-packed, suspenseful read full of great characters and an intense storyline that will keep you glued to the pages. Two strong-willed, strong-minded kick butt characters face off against multiple enemies, as well as their desire for each other, with a determined team at their backs and face several conspiracies and life and death situations trying to discover the truth behind the lies.I really enjoyed Brook and Tatiana’s story and it was a nice surprise seeing the Legacy SEALs from Susan Stoker’s new series make an appearance. Edwards does a great job of merging them into this read and sharing additional crossover scene snippets of Securing Caite by Stoker. It was neat to see a different perspective of a few of the scenes in Bahrain. It looks like the new Gold Team series will be a force to reckon with. I look forward to getting to know the rest of the team in their own stories.*Many thanks to the author for the advanced copy of this read. I am under no obligation to review this book; I do so freely and am providing my honest review.

CAITE SAVING AND BEING SAVED
Caite took a job over seas, but the area was kinda scary at night so she never left base. When she got stuck in the elevator she was instantly in love. Soon after though trouble found her and the bravery one person has is impressive

A great read!
Riley just does not disappoint. Brooks and Tatiana are just such strong individuals on their own that it is no surprise when sparks fly between them. In the midst of a secret op that gets more and more complicated as the pages go on, Brooks shows no mercy and a heck of a lot of determination on persuing his goals: a successful op and Tatiana. I love that she is both strong and idependent and yet with a soft side. Tons of action and lovable characters as you would expect from Riley. Recommended!

Brooks doesn't disappoint
I just love this author. Brooks fell hard and fast for Tatiana and I enjoyed watching it happen all the while watching g Tatiana go inside her head. Guess what? Brooks had her number and was able to get past her hand up! Great story with the team and looking for the man who had turned o. Her. O e ahe trusted. I do suggest reading the story suggested in the intro just so you know the players brought over from Susan's book. Makes it more fun to read.

Zing
Prepare for a zing, like a shot of tequila reading this, fast moving and very exciting. Lots going on, Brooks and Tatiana have chemistry that’s off the scales, though she’s like a prickly porcupine he’s not the least bit afraid of her spikes.

Hot as Hell
What more can I say but HOT doesn’t cut it. Brooks is a no nonsense man and I mean MAN! He doesn’t pull punches and yet he can make his “doll” a puddle with his honesty. He knows what she’s thinking and keeps her focused. Why is it only real men are in the pages of a book and not real?

complex but so worth it
So I admit the storyline needs attention, you can’t get distracted or it’s easy or get lost in who is friendly/who isn’t, where the team are and who’s order anyone is following.Though having said that, the push, pull and sheer beauty of the way Brookes and Tatiana fight their way into each other’s hearts will ensure that you are reading every word the author has written so you don’t miss those subtle little nuances, the sexy smirks and squinty eyes that mean an Alpha has fallen for another strong willed, save myself heroine and not that doesn’t come close to describing Tatiana. Used to operating alone and relying on only herself, it takes her a beat to allow herself to be drawn into the fold but when she does, it’s with her whole heart and mind.I loved this book, and the set up for the rest of the series (as I assume it will be) of the baddies was masterfully crafted leaving us with answers enough for a hea (and an extremely neat tie in to Susan Stokers Securing Caite) as well as leaving enquiring minds wondering where this book will lead us next.As ever there is an enigma character, and Max is it right now, though Declan seems to have his own demons that are riding slowly to the surface and as they gets unpacked over the series I can only imagine hearts and minds will be blown away!Thad…tell me more!!!
