This turned out to be a nice looking job and easy to install if you're using a drill to run in the self tapping screws. The only drawback is the screws that come with it, they were too short for the way my overhead door is constructed. A quick run to Ace and I was able to install this fairly quick. I used #12 x 1" stainless steel self tapping screws with a hex head. I have a 16' overhead door and I installed all of the aluminum except for the last section and then slid the rubber seal all the way across. I then installed the last section and slid the rubber seal into it so I only have 1 seam in the rubber. This is a very clean looking product and I hope I'll never have to replace it, but if I had to, I'd buy this one again.

Depending on the type of garage door and how old it is, it may take some time to get the metal track in place and sections aligned. Also, sliding the rubber is challenging when up close to a side wall or an adjoining garage door track. Be patient and use soapy water spray to help it slide along the track.

After we put on the metal pieces under the garage door, getting the rubber tubing proved to be impossible. We had 2 handymen working on it and I tried to pitch in as well but we simply could not get the rubber to sit in the railings. It kept popping off after numerous attempts. We tried to use the brush strips, and found them to be so stiff and the placement so awkward that it makes the garage door remain slightly open at the bottom. It also comes in the way when the garage door is closed.I am now looking for a rubber bottom for the metal strips. This product for the price I paid for it , was a complete waste of money! I would give it zero stars If I could.

We use brushes on our doors now but I liked the fact that the brush and seal are together, the only problem, which I know you can only send a certain length on carriers such as UPS is that the channel that holds the seal came cut at 3’ lengths.

Rubber seal is excellent. Uncertain what the bristles are for. Self tapping screws didn't. Had to predrill. Would be better if aluminum was longer.

This product once installed, does an excellent job of keeping out rodents and dirt. Installing the rubber gasket was a little bit tedious because of the friction involved but once installed, I’m thrilled with my garage door and the way it keeps garbage out from underneath.
