Works great
Works as well as leister brand. Takes same heating element as new leister. Very good for the price!

Good bang for the buck
It's a Leister clone like all the others. I am impressed with the build quality, so far it has behaved well, I can't be sure it regulates the temperature as well as a Leister, since I've never handled one, but it does it well enough and for 1/6 the cost. The nozzle and tips are OK, but there's no tacking tip included. However, they include a grooving tool for flooring which wasn't listed. So far I've welded ABS, PA66 and HDPE,all around 3-1/2 on the temp dial so there's plenty of heat in reserve, I added a $24 set of tips to get a tacker,(they CLAIM to be titanium) it's a cheap upgrade. Very satisfied. Oh, one funny thing, Leister has three set of graphics around the black rubber part which outlines temperature per number for each type of tip. On this one, they used the same graphic three times. Still, a very minor point. Good tool.

Dose a good job on PVC roofing membrane. The temperature abbjustment doesn't seem to work well.. but if you can weld fast Its good..Ran it all day and worked great.So far so good.

Works great, start with Low heat (setting 3 or 4)
Easily fixed rock and brush plastics under 4x4 quad, try to use the same type of plastic rod but in a pinch I used some heavy duty zip ties.

Not Impressed
It works sometimes. The settings are hard to work out and unsure to really tell what temp you’re at.Plastic welding isn’t easy to begin with and this will probably work with lots of patience and practice but not easy to use at first.

Works well
Welding huge PVC pipes. and drying concrete holes. Works like a charm. Dont forget to buy pvc wire.I made 4" pipe insertions in 6" pipes and 2 hours welding could withstanf 130PSI.Sometimes you need this tool. Its great
