RAPSH32003 1:32 F-4C F-4D Phantom II 'Snub-Nosed USAF Phantoms' [WATERSLIDE Decal Sheet]

I thought I was going to have to take some time and create my own decals for tail number 64-0748, but a random Internet search led me to this set. The decals are very high resolution, as are the reference sheets that highlight detailed placement for each aircraft. I purchased this to go with Tamiya's kit #60305, F-4C/D Phantom II in 1:32 scale.A little history on why I chose this aircraft...it's a one star Mig killer that came through the 188th TFG (now the 188th Wing), Arkansas ANG, back in the 1980s, during which time my father worked on the aircraft as an avionics technician. The jet was retired in '88 and put on display at Little Rock AFB for a time, and is now on static display just inside the La Salle Gate at JB Langley-Eustis.I thought it would be a nice example to do given its success over Vietnam and preservation for posterity, as well as a nod to the work my father put into it to keep it flying. The Avionix and Eduard pieces I have in my stash will add a lot of detail, but finding these high quality decals will add so much more.
