Great watch price is problem.
One doesn't buy a Rolex today for telling time. Your cell is good to about 5 milliseconds off the world standard. but this is a very strong watch. Holds value and lasts forever. They are multigenerational. I just gave my grandfather's 1942 perpetual to my granddaughter. back in the 60s these were about $1000. That is around 9700 today. the list price for this one is $15K Everything else is because they are sold out and you can't get one. Not all Rolex's are sold out though and many sell for the MSRP.

Love this watch
I love my new watch. The looks I am getting as a Walmart greeter are priceless. The saying, time cures all is true! I hardly think of the old house and car, the money for the kids college, my former 401k and the kidney I am missing, all for this watch. As I am walking back to my tent after a long day of greeting, I can only smile and try to whistle through my one remaining tooth!

Doesn’t even have pong
So I have had multiple watches and I’ve stuck primarily with Apple because they are good for the money and have all the functions you would expect out of a watch such as taking calls, playing pong when you are bored, skipping songs for music etc. I saw Rolex and the hefty price tag with it and figured this must be better than Apple. All it does is tell the time, like what? 50k to tell the time. Needless to say I’ve decided to stick with apple and throw this one out. Would give 0 starts if I could.

I bought NEW in 1986 for $999.00 It's worth $999 but I wouldn't even pay $1.5K for it today
I like the brand and price...back when this retailed for $999.00. Seemed pricey back then, now it's ridiculous unless you have so much money you won't notice your bank account dropped at all...and I didn't notice it back then. Does not keep good time like a cheap quartz of any brand, and quartz watches were fairly new in the market back then. Whatever. I sold it 4 years later for $5K which was OK. Quartz is still more accurate than Rolex self winding.

Amazing
My son loves his watch. He's really into watches so I got him this one for his birthday and he seems to love it!
