Nicolle's Homemade Buttermilk Rusks (2 Pack)

A South African friend taught me (long distance) how to make her delicious recipe for rusks and my husband and I love them. However, they are very time-consuming and I could never keep enough for us. Nicolle's are absolutely superb! Even though my "rusk experiences" have been limited, I do know what truly excellent ones taste like and Nicolle has hit the mark! Homemade taste, appearance and good packaging will keep them in my kitchen for (hopefully) a very long time. Thanks for an excellent product.

In a word stale. Stale tasting, stale texture, stale all around.

Not much flavor unless dunked in flavored Coffee

I bought these as a surprise for my Afrikaner. I watched his joy as he opened them turn to boyish contentment as he dunked one after the other into his coffee and munched happily. 100% satisfied with this product. They were packaged well, they arrived quickly, and they taste like home. Baie dankie!

These are everything I could ask for in a rusk. Perfect fresh taste and great for dunking in my coffee or hot malted milk. I enjoyed them more than rusks from South Africa and will buy them again.
