Doesn't look like the pictured item, doesn't do what it's supposed to do
I hate to leave a bad review for what might have been a mistake in Amazon's fulfillment of this item but I don't want you to waste your time and money like I did. I'm not even sure what I received, as PowerDeWise doesn't seem to even list a product like what I got, nor do I have any idea what the product I received would or could be used for.What you are supposed to get, is an adapter that lets you plug a 4-conductor headset into it (like one made for an iPhone) and then plug that into a standard TRS jack like you might find on a computer speaker jack, a set of computer speakers, etc. Then, you should have the sound come out of both sides of the headset properly. Without the adapter, this requires you to fiddle around with pulling the plug out of the jack ever so slightly or the sound is awful.What I actually got had 4 conductors on the plug (just like the headset already had). I tried it anyway, and not surprisingly it had the same issue you get when you plug 4-conductor iPhone headsets into a 3-conductor jack - terrible sound quality, until you pull the plug out about 1/16".At the time of this review posting, there are no other reviews. I would assume that if you purchase this item, you'll get the same useless piece of junk I returned. If you feel that warrants voting this review "unhelpful" arbitrarily because I'm giving a bad review for a seller issue, consider that I also left a negative review for the seller, and also consider that the seller is the manufacturer.

It was a female TRS to male TRRS which could be useful if that was what you needed
My experience is the same as the other reviewers'. The adapter I received is the opposite of what is stated here. It was a female TRS to male TRRS which could be useful if that was what you needed. It is clearly a mistake on the posting but I don't know why they don't change it. I would imagine they get a lot of returns on this item.

Incorrect Adapter
I expected to get an adapter that can be used to adapt earbuds from an IPhone to an older ipod or workout equipment. What I received is an adapter that can be used to adapt an iPhone to normal earbuds. The adapter pictured had a 3PIN male end and what I received is a 4PIN male end. This adapter will not do what it is intended to do!
