Kupo 3/8in-16 Male to 1/4in-20 Female Adapter (KG008912), Black

I recently purchased 4 of these double studs because I misplaced my other ones. feel pretty solid and hold up. I'm using these on superclamps to hold up my strobe lights (alien bees and photoflex), so far so good, no issues with either strobes holding their position once set. nice that they come with caps to protect the threads when not in use.

Just wanted to point out that this round stud has a flat side on the post that is super useful. When you use this as a baby stud, or in a receiver, make sure you put this stud's flat side to your load's fastening bolt. That way, when you tighten the fastening bolt, the load won't spin on this stud if it's to be held at an angle.

I was able to connect two support rods together to support both sides of this curtain rod. As you can see we have a MASSIVE window. I had to buy two sets of curtain rods but with this part I was able to hang it with just one!(and one other support bar) Lowe's in town didn't have anything like this and I doubt Home Depot will either.

This product lasted a little over a day, before the 3/8 thread broke off in my camera's tripod mount.I'll order another one and chalk it up to me maybe being clumsy, but I will say it worked great for rigging my Nikon D700 to a grip arm on a C-Stand. I guess I may have over torqued it when adjusting the pin in the arm.

I bought the 1/4-3/8 adapter. The quality is ok and the price is normal, not really discounted as the ad says. The adapter is all you receive, the round stud pictured is NOT included. I'm not sure why the ads can't be clear; it appears they may be trying to deceive.

Handy hardware for the studio. Dual thread size helps.

Great does what it's suppose to=) I use these on my light stands that came with the Ravelli ABSL backdrop system.
