Strawberry Candy Flavor, Haoliyuan Chewy Milk Candy 100 Psc

Yes, I am addicted to these. I found them at the 7/11 in Thailand on a trip. Of all the flavors Taro and Strawberry are my favorite although banana is pretty good, too. It is sort of like an M and M without the chocolate. The outside has a thin candy coating that is made of milk mixed with the flavor on the packaging. Inside is a brown tapioca ball that is very chewy. Yum! If you like the milk teas or gummi candy you might enjoy these, too.

This is the third flavor of these candies I've tried, and I haven't liked any of them. If I buy a flavored product, I want it to taste pretty accurate, and at least have the flavor (in this case strawberry) be primary when tasting it (I also loathe anything stronger than mild floral flavors, with rare exceptions) - these are my preferences. Bearing that in mind, the strawberry flavor was extremely subtle to me, and what I could get in strawberry flavor seemed off - like the difference between strawberry jam and fresh strawberries, the flavor was kind of flat. It also didn't help that I got an intense floral flavor, which I am not a fan of. I ended up giving them to a family member who enjoys floral candies and they liked them. So, if you share my preferences, I'd steer clear of these - otherwise I'd say they're worth a shot.
