This takes standard mouth mason jars. I use the 32oz jars for sugar water and it work great. It seems like the bees prefer the wood feeders then the plastic. The holes pre punched in the cap was good enough for the sugar water. No complaints

Perfect hive opening fit, sturdy, fits a regular mason jar. All you could ask for in a feeder and at a cheap price! Ordered two, they both work great and they came early as well! Would buy more of these again!

Tried different entrance feeders and this one is the only one that the girls will use. Yes, it may be the honey water, but I tried a different style entrance feed that was plastic and the bees did not like it at all.

Holes punched in the lid are WAY to big and sugar water is gone in an hour.

I had to cut more out for the lid, too tight and didn't fit.

Got it for my husband for his bees he loved it. Beautiful wood and beautiful craftsmanship.

Worked fine.
