4305 3/4-Inch Drive 3/4-Inch Female to 1/2-Inch Male Super Adapter

The adapter fit my 3/4" breaker bar and other wrenchs perfectly, with no flex during use and a snug fit for all sockets when attached. You can rest easy this adapter is what you are looking for in price and quality. I have used it numerous times, without incident, leading me to recommend this item to a few mechanics I know that need these types of adapters and do not want to pay the chain store prices. I shopped a few brick and mortor stores looking for this part, and everybody wanted at least $20. When I dediced to check Amazon on my phone before checking out at a store, I realized I almost overpaid by 400%! Thanks again Amazon!

Beefy, well made, solid, and does what it needs to do well. I don't know much about metallurgy so I cannot comment on construction material, however it is overall well made and durable. Also, the button latch keeps sockets on very well. 10/10 in my book

I have a Neiko 3/4" to 1/2" adapter and this Sunex makes the Neiko looks like a baby. The Sunex is huge and strong. I tested it by putting a 3-foot pipe on a 25" 3/4" breaker bar and tried to turn a bolt clamped on the bench vise with a 1/2" 19mm socket. No matter how much force I pulled on the breaker bar neither the bolt nor the adapter gave. I don't think I can ever twist the 1/2" portion off.

I was able to torque one bolt to 450 foot pounds using the adapter (12 point 20mm cap screw and didn't have 3/4" socket to fit it). The adapter broke on the second bolt. I was surprised when it didn't fail on the first bolt. Definitely higher torque than this type of adapter is designed for. We break our MAC one frequently at much lower torque.

This adapter is well constructed and high quality. This permits me to use a 3/4" breaker bar and obtain more leverage for tough fitting bolts. This is a heavy weight adapter and held up well for my occasional use. I've had great luck with Sunex and I will continue to purchase their products.

Nice quality tool. After decades of Craftsman being my go-to supplier for home shop tools I am forced to go elsewhere for quality. I now have several Sunex sockets including this adapter. All have been high quality.

Purchased this reducer so that I could use my 3/4" breaker bar with all my 1/2" drive sockets. Comes in handy on drive axle nuts and such. Sunex tools are well made, inexpensive and most are made in Taiwan.
