I think a suit hangar should have a curve in it to mimic the shoulders, so the clothing item can rest as it would on a body. This method keeps the collar in proper position so one does not have to re-iron the clothing item directly before wearing it.These hangars do not have such a curve. They are straight as arrows. That said, they are of good quality with a smooth finish, so they will not catch knit items, and I do like the notches for spaghetti straps. I'm keeping them, but still looking for a proper hanger for the suits and dress shirts.

These hangers came to us not damaged and for what we paid we are pleased with our purchase. I didn't want to pay too much as we use a lot of them but these certainly met our expectations.

I bought these as a gift for my father-in-law. I bought the larger set (48) for my husband and he loves them! They're great quality and hold my husband's suits really well. Some wooden hangers are really bulky and take up too much room in the closet, but these are slim yet very sturdy and keep the shoulders of the suits from sagging. I purchased the hangers for my husbands work pants and coats. They work great for both. I expect them to last a long time.
