It is absolutely beautiful and I am delighted with it. There are so many colour changes. I had a very similar fire from a local dealer which had broken down,, it was not as nice and would have cost £1500 to replace. My son fitted it for me and he said that it was quite straight forward.

You can often tell the quality of a product before you even see it - from the quality of the packaging; which in this case was first class. The fire was packed in plenty of polystyrene in a box within a box; the surround packed in plenty of more polystyrene in a separate reinforced box.Another pleasant surprise was finding the surround was constructed of heavy ply instead of the usual moulded mdf. And there is even a paint pen included just in case you manage to damage the surround when fitting!The instructions could do with a bit more clarity but trial and error worked it out in the end. Note we found we didn't need the fire wall hanging bracket because the surround simply sits on the floor with the fire secured inside it. One less set of measurements and wall drilling needed.Great remote - very easy to use.3 hearth fillings to play with - we're using a mix of crystals and logs. Fan heater grills are hidden under the mantle top so unlike other wall hanging fires, they cannot be seen - another plus. Hot air directed down and out - perfect for the dog!Absolutely love it.

I would have given 5 stars but there was a dent in the edge of the box which chipped the fire. It is covered by the mantle so did not report it. The finished product when dressed with the logs and coals etc and lit up is absolutely stunning. I can't take my eyes off it. The colours of the lights, the flames, the logs and not to mention those glass looking coals! I couldn't be more pleased, what a wonderful centre piece. I can't wait for my family to see it. I got no complaints from my partner regarding the fitting of it either so that's another plus. I have been staying up later at night just to watch the flames and the lights change colour. It is amazing, the photos don't do it justice. Also one thing I wasn't sure about was that on some pics the mantle looked shorter than the bottom of the fire but this isn't and I didn't want it to be. I got the 54 inch in grey. Not sure if the others are any different. The mantle and bottom cover are made from mdf with a plaster type covering which could easily be painted if desired which is handy. I would definitely recommend!

The media could not be loaded. Initially chose product for size, colour of surround and flame effect.It comes with clear crystals, logs, white gravel and a few larger white stones. I have chosen to use the clear crystals with white gravel and white stones. There are not enough clear crystals so solely use these.The mood lighting is lovely, the lighting of the ‘log bed’ is changeable and there are three different flame effects. The surround is fairly simple to install although instructions aren’t great. If you are siting the fire surround just above the skirting board it is difficult to access the space to be able to put any screws in… I was led on the floor looking upwards and could only just fit my head underneath it. Finding the screw holes and aligning the screws would have been difficult without doing this. Having said that, the whole thing is very sturdy and looks great. It’s a perfect feature in our lounge.

Ordered the 47" Grey flame effect fire before Christmas. Delivery was within a week as stated. The 2 boxes were delivered with care and the product is really well packed for transit. Once opened it was soon apparently that you will need to assemble a few components to the heater unit first ( surround support brackets and glass side panels) As previous reviews mention, the instructions / illustrations are not great but anyone with basic DIY experience will soon figure it out. The heater unit mounts to the wall with screws and the plinth and mantle units simply slide onto the heater unit. There are a couple of electrical connectors in the plinth that supply the down lights for the mantle. Lay out the assorted supplied pebbles or glass rocks plus logs, Connect the power cable to a main socket and use the impressive remote to select the colour of the flames, fire bed, down lights and heat. The heater looks amazing and gets lots of compliments. Sturdy well made unit and good value for money. Very pleased with this item.

Had this fire a week now I absolutely love it can be wall mounted but didn't as was worried about leads it goes really flat 2 the wall didn't want to have to take it down if needed access so made a harth for it outa wood and concrete fablon to sit on wanted it to be a bit highter the heat comes out from the middle due to the fans so no need to worry about setting things on top gives off good heat the down lights and fire bottom changes from 14 colours the fire it's self changes 3 colours also got 2 remotes with it 1 for spare witch is allways good it says when u got it on auto it can turn on when the thermostat in remote senses the room tep drop below the temp you set but I don't have it on that function rather do it my self looking forward to a cozy winter with this fire and the company was brilliant fast delivery there was a mix up when delivering fire but company fixed it right way even set out some 1 to collect the parcel I didn't have to do anything very good polite company would definitely recommend bet bit is u get white stones glass crystals and logs with it so u can easily mix and match or change every week if you wanted 2 nd it's not loud at all felt thr back when it's been on it doesn't even heat up witch I was surprised and at bottom theres a cut out bit to hide extension lead if you wanted 2 and easily built can't find 1 bad thing to say about this
