As a carpet fitter, i get through a lot of knives a year but it's nice to have one that stands out in vibrant colours.Whilst the knife itself still suffers from the common problem of the blades wearing out the soft alloy blade locator lugs, it is lightweight, comfortable to use, good enough for a proffessional, and Benwell really do paint these up nicely with some quality candy semi-translucent paint. The purple really "pings" and customers always say "wow,that's a nice looking knife"Will it last? No. No delphin knife does, but does it look awesome? Absolutely. I'll be buying more of these instead of boring plain silver ones.

Whilst these will not last a pro carpet fitter, for general trade rated use they are very good and comfortable. A single small spot of oil on the wheel thread helped its operation. High visibility and very comfortable knife.

Great knife been using this type for 31 years now.Just one thing with the Barnwell gel badge on the side. Take it off. Cus it's too tight in the plastic sheath If, like a like me you put it in your work trousers. Or as you pull it out, the whole thing, knife and sheath, comes out of the pocket!
