This phone only works at 2g in the United States
To be very clear up front this phone only works at 2g in the United States. It does not work at all with the big carriers like ATT. Most of the carriers that it works with (at 2g) are small carriers such as pre-paid plans. This is not made clear in the item description. That said, this is a nice phone. It works smoothly from the box, comes with a case and screen protector. It feels solid. is nice to grip has good specs. The battery is great, the screen resolution is great. You can use it outside in the sun. It would measure up well compared to some of the much more expensive phones. But all that is of little value when it does not work in the United States. It is just too bad that it does not work with our main carriers

Don't buy this if you live in the USA! If you don't, check the frequencies and bands I include.
This is a great phone. Here are the reasons I've had to return it:1 - Android v7 to be updated to v8 soon. HOWEVER, Oukitel disabled the option included in default Android since v6 for WiFi Calling. That's a deal breaker.2 - The bands it works on are not included in any but 2g for T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, & AT&T, so it does work, but only on Edge/2G (Freq: 1900)Support 2G network: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHzSupport 3G network: WCDMA 900/2100 MHzSupport 4G network: FDD-LTE Band 1/3/7/8/20Here are the bands that a phone must match at one or more levels:AT&T4g LTE: 2,4,5,12,17Frequencies: 1900, 1700 abcde, 700 bcVerizon4g LTE: 2,4,13Frequencies: 190,1700 f, 700 cT-Mobile4g LTE: 2,4,12,66,71(bought and rolled out 2017)Frequencies: 1900, 1700 def, 700 a, 600Sprint4g LTE: 25,26,41Frequencies: 1900 g, 850, 2500Europe4g LTE: 3,7,20Frequencies: 1800, 2600, 800China/India4g LTE: 40,41Frequencies: 2300,2500Because it doesn't support the right frequencies, it doesn't work right with those carriers where it matches the 4g LTE bands and not all the frequencies. They need to match for it to work right. So, you should get 2G, but nothing higher in the USA. That's not acceptable for most, if not every person I can think of.I recommend this phone for it's very clear, even wonderfully crisp display. But the radio in it is not worth any price, unless making phone calls is way down on your priority list. Why get it? If it's cheaper than a tablet, and you like the 5.5" screen, then it may be worth getting, otherwise, stay away. Oukitel has shot themselves in the foot by not making a phone that's really worth using in spite of it's great features. How ma ny phone do you know of that include an FM tuner (you have to plug in a headphone for the antenna to be connected, and it doesn't come with one)?Okay, enough said. I hope this helps someone. I'm sending mine back this week, and hopefully can either repair my Nexus 6p, or find a decent Pixel on a local electronic bulletin board that's very good.

The battery is super excellent, long lasting
Why would someone say or write that it doesn't work in the US. I got the phone, took out my SIM from LG5, got it into this Ouki phone and it worked straight. I am on TMobile and it seems to be working. The battery is super excellent, long lasting. All other functions are ok except the camera. It is far far below Samsung and iPhone in quality. Also, reception may be poor in some areas. I think it has a weak antenna.720/2017After 3 weeks of using the phone, I conclude that the reception is quite poor. It doesn't pick signals and wifi well. Try an download on Google Play another HD camera to replace the not so good camera on it.
