Good summary
The book Sapiens was one of my readings in school but I never fully got to comprehend its meaning and pretty much winged it. After seeing this book, I thought I'd get it and re-read the summary to see if my understanding of the book was even close to the real meaning. The book is pretty well-written and kept things short. Didn't go overboard with trying to explain each chapter. Dr. Harari is amazing and this book somehow gave me a preview of what he was thinking.

SOCIAL JUSTICE IS THE KEY TO MANKIND'S SURVIVAL
The last chapter in this book is titled; "The End Of Homo Sapiens". To me this was a rather negative note to end on. The reality is that mankind, over the arc of history, has evolved socially. If you look at the most successful cultures in history, those cultures that emphasized cooperation, social justice and rule of law they have all prospered. Those cultures that emphasized pure nationalism, primarily economic objectives or a personality cult did not prosper. With the advent of the Human Rights Charter mankind is developing a global conscience which it will spread throughout the universe.

It started out fine, but soon sounded like a summary of Jared ...
The mistake was reading the summary. It started out fine, but soon sounded like a summary of Jared Diamond's books. Further on when it sounded like too much praise for capitalism without restraint I quit reading. Our book club had only great things to say about the complete book which didn't sound very much like what I read.

Good reiview
I read Sapiens and thought about re-reading it at some point because of it's length (and my attention span) then came across the summary (probably no accident) and it turned out to be a good, although a little to brief, review.

Very useful summary!
A great outline of a great book. Very useful for reviewing a jam packed book. I would like to see more summaries like this for complex and insightful books.

It is a summary - I get it. But is much too brief and lots of mispellings.
