Good inline bass blocker
These work great as inline base blockers for my 3.5inch speakers. Tuned up my stereo and no more worries about too many frequency's. In line bass blockers are passive second line defense.... Use a proper crossover for active bass blocking!

Pretty Good
They do well, allows the bass to cut through on your subs better when used on all 4 door speakers (not the subs) makes you feel the kick an attack more focused and centered that door speakers usually muddy up. vocals can blend better cause you can push the volume a bit more how you eq from your radio and amp make a big difference if you know what to do you can get a pretty okay sound stock nothing beats running an amp though. but easy cheap and good buy!

Gets the job done
Seems to work as expected. I used the 300 Hz "6x9" blockers for a pair of 3.5" dash Kicker speakers -- keeps enough of the lower end bass from hitting them. The enclosure is unnecessarily large however.

MUST buy for clean, distortion free 3.5” upgrades!
So…I upgraded to new JBL Club 3.5” dash speakers in my OEM 2018 Chrysler 300 stereo. Chrysler’s built in EQ settings and crossovers on the UConnect basically prevent the volume from getting loud to protect their cheap speakers (mine is a non-amplified system). If you have a newer model 300, you know that the overall factory soundstage is pretty good, it just lacks those crisp highs and volume to really jam out. If you do upgrade to the JBL Club 3.5” speakers, I would HIGHLY suggest that you order these Recoil BB-35 Bass Blockers to install on the positive speaker wire of the speakers. The signal coming from the factory head unit to the dash speakers is a full range signal (highs, mids, and lows). The JBL’s come with a resistor installed that run to the tweeter to protect it from the lower frequencies, but nothing to filter the signal to the actual 3.5”. Initially I had to turn down the bass on my EQ so low to make the new JBL’s sound clean, and distortion free, that I lost that mid-bass that I enjoyed so much from the 6x9’s in my front doors and rear deck. The Recoil BB-35 bass blockers filtered all of those unwanted signals from playing through my new JBL 3.5” dash speakers so that I could turn up the low frequencies on the EQ giving me the upgraded soundstage and louder volume I was looking for. I couldn’t be happier from such an easy and cheap upgrade to my OEM system!

Awesome for Dodge Journey!
I recently replaced all 6 speakers in my 2015 Dodge Journey with MTX Terminator speakers and I noticed that it sounded awfully distorted and the 3.5” speakers on the dash were playing low frequencies which they are NOT supposed to do, and that really scared me thinking that it would blow them. I did some research and another person wrote a review on these about how these capacitors changed the whole sound system on their Ram and blocked out the low frequencies from their dash speakers, so I decided to give these a try and see if it would make a difference. After splicing up the Metra harness and wiring these capacitors up, it changed the WHOLE SYSTEM! The door speakers AND dash speakers all sound loud AND clear! No more worrying about the dash speakers blowing, and it even gave the door speakers more bass. 100% would recommend these if you own a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram, these little things solve your problem!

Didn't really notice a difference
Nothing really changed. I still have to turn down the bass in my equalizer so my door speakers don't sound to distorted.

Great little devices. Took all the bass away from my door speakers and sound fantastic now that I have a subwoofer doing all the bass. I wired them behind my deck so I didn't have to take the door panels off and cut and sliced them into my aftermarket harness so I didn't even have to touch any of the factory wiring. Worked great and wayyyyy less time and effort. I know some say wire it close to the speaker but I read reviews of lots of people doing it behind the deck with no issue, no issue for me either.

Un costo extremadamente excesivo para no ser más que un capacitor que no cuesta más de 1 dólar.
