Poke: Hawaiian-Inspired Sushi Bowls Hardcover – May 2, 2017

Was very surprised by the substance in this cute little book. Well researched and thought out. Very happy!

Bought this for a Christmas gift for my bestie, she's been really into cooking and loves sushi, so I thought that it would be a great fit. The quality of the book feels really nice, and the design and photos in it make it a great coffee table read or make a nice accent on a kitchen counter:)

Not only are the recipes beautiful and creative - but the book itself is so elegantly designed. It's quickly become one of my favourites.

Some great recipes here, all accompanied by good food photography and clear instructions.That said, this book seems to be capitalising on the poke trend. Only 40 of the ~145 pages in the book are poke recipes. First 27 pages give a (great!) overview on fish, toppings and cooking rice. 40 pages on poke recipes, followed by desserts, drinks, side dishes and fermented accompaniments.In short, big on concept but light on actual poke recipes!

What an excellent book. Delicious recipes. Easy to follow. Lovely design. I had to get this after eating at their London stall. Totes yummo.

Love this book! Very colourful and engaging. I fell in love with the Hawaiian-inspired poke bowls following a trip to NYC. The dish is delicious and healthy so I wanted to learn how to create it at home. Last week I made my first poke bowl using the easy to follow instructions from this recipe book. My home made poke was delicious and I’ve picked up valuable new cooking skills from the book.

A lovely little book full of delicious fresh dishes. Only made a couple so far and they have gone down very well, would definitely recommend it!
