New to bench grinders and how to get wire wheels to work.
All I knew was the wire wheel wobbled and the plastic thing that looked like it was a packaging insert was necessary to get the wheel to actually turn and that it didn't work all the time.So I started researching. I found my arbor is 1/2", wire wheels have a 5/8" opening and the two won't work without help aka reducing bushings.I looked for a few days deciding on this manufacturer because I am a cheap bastard and don't like buying things twice.I intially used just one of the bushing (see title disclaimer) putting the bushing on before the wheel or next to the motor. I quickly figured out all three are used at the same time. When you use all three bushings the wheel is trapped taking up the slack created by the size of the wire wheel and creating a balanced wheel that hums like a well balanced tire.I will be purchasing another set for my grinder's course wire wheel.

Stops vibrations- Great for Norton wheels/stones.
I tried to use the plastic spacers that came with my Norton sharpening wheel. What a waste of time. The wheel wobbled so much that my bench grinder was vibrating like crazy, and there's no chance you can accurately sharpen or grind anything. Not to mention, unbalanced wheels are dangerous. It did not completely eliminate the vibrations, because the wheel still needed to be balanced, but it made the wheel usable, and the bench grinder safe to use (stopped excessive vibrations and wobbling. If you found this review, I can just tell you this: Just stop researching and buy these. They are simply the best spacers out there, and you will need them if you ever swap out wheels.

Better than expected
I have a vintage craftsman bench grinder that had a horrible vibration. It was very loud and had to be bolted to a heavy stand or it would walk around everywhere.I was skeptical these bushings would fix the problem but I was working on cleaning/refurbishing the grinder and finally decided to give them a try. When I recieved them I was even more skeptical. They were nicely machined but didn’t seem to fit perfectly together. There was still some slop in them. But when I installed them and turned on the grinder, magically all the vibration was gone. The grinder was dead quiet and didn’t move around my work bench like it used to.I payed about $21 for these which is way too much if you ask me, especially considering you can buy a brand new grinder for $60-100. But I am happy with my purchase and they will last forever unlike the cheap plastic bushings that come with the wheels.

They are well machined to a good tolerance, no slop or play. Definitely recommend these.

Straight no vibration Spin
Excellent purchase made my BENCHGRINDER run smoothly with the right spacer - arbor 1st then the big spacer then the smallest spacer for my wire wheel then the 2nd arbor then the nut tightened —- smooth and balanced the mid sized one I’m sure I will have to use when place might of other wheels on if you are looking to buy this product spend the extra $7 and buy the one that comes with the 4 spacers it’s worth it and will be used especially like I said if you are going to use different wheels

It works and seems well made
While the diameters were right I wish I would have bought one that was 3/4 or an inch wide so it would take up more of the space in the inch wide grinding wheel it was purchased for. I should have read the description better. Also the packaging is so nondescript that I almost threw it away, if you order it with other items look carefully or you may just throw the tiny white unlabeled box in the trash.
