Very pretty, makes impressive snapping sound
I got this for my son who has gotten into taichi fan dance. This is a nice size for performance and he can easily snap it open and close with a loud, satisfying snapping sound. It has so far held up to repeated use.

Abanico de adorno, no para Tai Chi
Estimados, hoy llegó el abanico, pero no cierra bien, para la práctica de Tai Chi, se dificulta cuando cierra como lechuga, advierto igual que otro que había comprado que las varillas no están simetricas y el planchado de la tela es irregular.Por favor comentar si devuelvo el producto o tienen un modelo que me sirva para la práctica de Tai Chi.En caso de devolver no se como se envía o si ustedes lo retirar de mi hogar.Gracias y saludos,

Terrible
I actually threw it away because it was so awful! Visible glue and cut marks on the material only opened half way. I was going to use it for a photo shoot but it was unusable.

Beautiful, authentic Tai Chi fan
It is beautiful, with the Phoenix and Dragon on black material. Made with bamboo as all tai chi fans should be. Makes a snap and easy to handle during practice. I got this fan to have at home for practice while my other tai chi fan for class stays in my car, so I don't forget it! It also comes in a beautiful case with two Chinese coins on the closing string.

Good quality fan
My son needed a fan for Mandarin class and neglected to tell me that it's to be used in a performance. This particular fan caught my eye because of the beautiful design. Anyway, turns out it was exactly what his teacher had in mind when she asked the students to purchase fans. My son really likes it and it suits his needs.

Great fan for tai chi practice
Very happy with the fan, it opens and closes quite smoothly though I did need to iron out a few creases in the fabric initially. It makes a great sound on opening and is perfect for practising the fan form.
