These tube socks are just like those from the 70s and 80s. Very comfortable, durable, not too thick or too thin not too tight, reach over the calf and up to the knee, and stay up even during activity such as running or working out. They look great with shorts, especially those with a shorter inseam that have recenlty come back in style. Each pair has a different color set of stripes at the top: blue, red, green, yellow and black, perfect for coordinating with similar color shorts and T shirts. I also think they will wear well in winter with jeans to keep the legs warm, and thick enough to wear with boots.

Way too long for shorter people. Comes above the knees at that uncomfortable point to bunch behind the knee. Seems to be OK otherwise but can't wear.

Plenty long and they stay up well!

I am a short woman, so the socks came all the way up to my knees. They were out of women's size, so I took a chance with the men's.I'm not skinny, but my calves are not that big. Nevertheless, the socks were binding at the calf and left indentation marks. The socks have no stretch. They don't look exactly like the kind we wore in the 70s and 80s, which is fine. I do like that they seem to be all cotton, so the fabric feels OK, except right at the top. I bought them to wear with boots, but I think I may end up using them for rags and just sticking with regular women's knee socks.

They are made awful. Almost no stretch, so expect them to bunch downward if you have big calves. The fabric is scratchy and tight. Worst socks I’ve ever gotten.
