Wade Ceramics Gluggle Jug, Orange, Large

The exquisite craftsmanship of this gluggle jug cannot be beat! Made in England by the renowned Wade company (they made the porcelain figurine premiums found in Red Rose tea among other popular items) the jug is rich with detail not found in cheap Chinese imitations. The texture of the scales is lovely and the strong and sturdy construction of the handle means this jug will last a lifetime. I use mine as a flower vase and enjoy the gurgling sound of the jug when I change the water. I recommend ordering the extra large which is actually the standard size. Only order the "large" size if you want something small to use as a knick-knack. It is a conversation starter to be sure and looks wonderful on the granite countertop in my new farmhouse kitchen! I ordered the jug in white... versatile in every room!

When I ordered it,thought it was cute and different,when it finally arrived at my home,my husband said,now what odd or unique thing did you find and buy,for I'm truly a big kid at heart,everyone who knows me says, I'm a toys R us kid,even thought I'm in my sixty's,unfortunately,hate being older,not my thing,never wanted to get old,that something for some thing for old people ,but not me? but as my doctor says Carol you can change a lot of things,but not your age,ain't that so true?I really like my fish pitcher,funny to listen to when you pour it,asI do have some weird stuff,in my home,but we truly are nautical family,I really should live on boat or closer to ocean which I use to do,and now unfortunately live inland,and we hate,hate it,and as soon as prices rise this home is gone,for we are not inland folks,in no way ever or again,so i pray every night prices rise in central fl,so we can sell and make our money back to move back home to New England,sea shores.For we got worst odd ball neignbors in history?

Love this Gluggle Jug for a water pitcher. It is a conversation piece and makes for a lovely addition to the table for casual or formal. It makes a fun gluggle sound when poured, but not obnoxious or loud. I received as a gift and then gifted another. Love the different colors in which to choose.

When you fill up the Gluggle Jug to 3/4 full, it makes a ‘glug glug’ sound when you pour it that is deeply amusing. Would 100% recommend. The entire family enjoys it. 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm glad I came across this as an option for the Gluggle jug. It works as expected, and is exactly what we wanted.The size is a little smaller than one that would be used on a table, but we use ours for watering plants. The noise brings us joy.I originally ordered from another popular seller on Amazon, but that company has faulty jugs that don't make the proper noise. They refuse to fix the problem and continue to send out defective units.Buy this version. It works.

I love Wade Gluggle jugs. They are always a fun surprise at dinner parties. I bought this one for a friend who loves this beautiful blue/green color. The only reason, I didn't give it 5 stars is because their is a small imperfection in the paint/glaze. Otherwise, the sea green is a beutiful and unusual color for a gluggle jug. I wish I could fine it in the mini size.

A few months ago when wandering around a kitchen store in a town near me, my partner and I discovered a gurgle pot. We were really curious about it and the unusual noise it made, but the price was rather high (I think it was something like $45), so we passed on it. Remembering that day, I decided to find and purchase one online for my partner for Christmas.The Gluggle Jug is a really well made pitcher, beautifully glazed and makes that gurgling sound that one should expect with this particular type of pitcher. It also cost me less than what I would have paid in that store, and was well packed. I am tempted to buy more of these for friends and other family members! It's a great gift idea!
